Get with the program. Pope is now Swaggy Mark and we love him again. 40-0! Build a statue! Move over Adolph! We need all the cupcakes we can get. Only way to stay ahead of Kansas until we can get a new coach.

It was the same thing with cal it was play some top teams, but our cupcakes are big-time cupcakes. They’re not like Quad two or even Quad three. They will probably be all Quad four games.. the last couple years with pope at the helm just a couple Quad 2 or Quad three games in the non- conference would make all the difference in the worldI had to look.
Of course Duke has not listed their cupcakes, yet. So, if you look at their current ooc schedule, it does look pretty good: MSU, Illinois, UConn, Florida, Michigan, and Zaga. This will obviously be filled with the likes of Army and some random directional school.
KU: Fordham, Middle Tenn, UK, UNLV, Auburn or WVU in Vegas, Denver, Villanova, Northern Iowa, Mizzou, UConn, OSU, Indiana St, and New Orleans
UK: Manhattan, JMU, KU, Northern Arizona, Grambling St, IU, UVA, Bryant, UL, UNC, Sacred Heart, and Gardner-Webb
Not seeing anything to call out UK's schedule compared to others.
I wish him well but he definitely has a lot of mental decline. He is now irrelevant because of thatHell Duke has historically only played out of conference a couple of tough games and then looked for the biggest cupcakes for the rest but Vitale would never criticize Duke or most ACC schools because Vital has become a joke.
Yet he wouldn't dare say one ******* word about the money they spend, that is against ESPN policy to talk bad about those **** wads.If he’s harping on a 21 million dollar roster, his jaw would be on the floor if Duke ever revealed the actual costs of theirs
I wonder why the site blocks Duke-wads??Yet he wouldn't dare say one ******* word about the money they spend, that is against ESPN policy to talk bad about those **** wads.
Good grief! Is it any shock that Kentucky has a nice run the last few weeks, getting Momcilovic, Hampton, new AD, and something like this comes out of left field from a guy who is basically fighting for his life these days with various cancers?
All I'm saying is, let me check that phone call history and see if Coach K didnt call him two nights ago. Duke had to stop the bleeding.
Good grief!Yeah go "check that phone call history."
Love for Duke yes, and love for kentucky ever since I can remember
LMAO, that's not even close to the truth, he pumped your asses AND Dukes for years and years, only stopped when ya'll started spending 21 million on a roster and getting squat in return.
I had to look.

Duke has a much easier conference schedule than us right now. 7 big-game opponents vs 5 is a little better than us, but then they coast most of the time in conference.
On paper, Duke's non-conference schedule appears to be the toughest ever based on rankings. Using CBK Report rankings (yes, the AP could be a little different come October). Duke plays....
#1 Florida @ Florida
#3 Illinois @ Duke
#4 Michigan Neutral
#5 Uconn Neutral
#6 Michigan State Neutral
#9 Gonzaga Neutral
Georgia Neutral
They literally could have played the whole preseason top 6 however they can't play themselves.
Yes, the ACC is down, however the 2 ACC teams that Duke plays twice: UNC and UVA make it tougher than it should be.
A non-conference schedule like this has never been done before. Nobody's compares to this.
Bingo!Otherwise, he's right....However, the SEC is loaded and I would say the ACC is not.
Vitale can write his congressman about our NIL $. He’s a dickThis narrative of harping on the cost of our roster is beyond old. Newsflash folks… LOTS of programs are spending big money on their rosters now, in basketball and football.
Fairly customary these days that top programs skip the strong mid majors, as it's a lose lose proposition. Those mid majors get stoked to play usually bring their A++ game.Where did I mention UConn? Just saying what I'd like to see
That would be a really fun slate. Not sure if some of these schools will want the home and home given the neutral site offers more flex to capture $$$.I actually wish that we would cut down the list of legit teams to about three or four for the pre-conference schedule.
Connecticut home and home
Louisville
North Carolina or Kansas
Duke home and home
Love for Duke yes, and love for kentucky ever since I can remember

Oh look who comes crawling back
Five games against projected ranked opponents is the norm in my experience, maybe six at the most.
At least two of the teams we are playing would be challenged to beat Transy or Georgetown. So in a sense he is right. This year's assortment of cupcakes is really bad
