I'm guessing, sure. But we were ranked #2 in the country for a month and then win the ACC tournament over a very strong Georgia Tech club...I don't see how we would have been anything lower than the #3 seed. In this bracket, there is a huge difference between #3 and #5 unfortunately in terms of probabilities to advance.

We were never projected higher than 4 in the field of 64 projections, even in the immediate aftermath of beating GT. The human polls don’t matter for this.

They were told to save the NCAA money and make it drivable if possible. Only explanation. We very clearly should have switched 4 seeds with West Virginia (Binghamton).
This has been true for baseball regionals for a long time. It's why we were always getting South Carolina in the supers. It would be totally different if college baseball made money instead of losing it hand over fist. We need more people to tune into these games.

Coastal has completely fallen off a cliff the past 3 weeks
100%. They fell off the cliff after they beat North Carolina and the rumor got out that the head coach is leaving to go to South Carolina. It’s pretty obvious. I’ve been to most of their games this year and they’re not even close to the same team they were early in the year.

More evidence for the guy who was like “actually the regional isn’t hard because Tennessee isn’t as good as their national championship team two years ago” but did no actual comparative analysis to other regionals

The difficulty of each regional per Pear:

Why does Texas having a slide just make complete sense? And the next easiest path is that of AL. And then GA.

KU must be concerned (to appear) to be so far beyond NCAA Committee azz-kissing distance.

Closer to the bone, aTm may also wonder why its "SEC Secret Decoder Ring" doesn't seem to work nearly as well as all of the other SEC hosts.

Pretty interesting there are 7 4 seeds with a positive PEAR rating and only 1 got sent to an SEC school. Self fulfilling prophecy for the SEC schools
