Complete bullcrapDon’t forget FSUs AD is the head of the committee, they got a bump and bc of seeding Tennessee 25 instead of 24, they got coastal and we got tennessee

This could be true…but we beat g tech 3 of 4 & win ACC…I think we pretty clearly switch places w them but to your point who knowsNothing would have changed. They would not have had us above GT and still would manipulated the bracket to get a non-SEC team in the 5-8 bucket. They were working backwards to get a preferred outcome.
NCAA deserves to die. We need a new governing body for college athleticsShould have been number 4. And our bracket is as unfavorable as any. Thanks NCAA. You ought to try your hand at politics.

That bubble team will be jacked sky high to beat us.And what is brutal about it? A bubble team in ECU, a barely above bubble team in VCU, and Tennessee that ain’t 2024 Tenn. Not seeing what is brutal about it at all. Big names, don’t make it brutal.
ESPN just said we had the toughest draw…Well yeah, except VCU is the 4 seed. By far the best 4 seed.
There is a reason everyone is saying we got shafted, not just our fans
With the easiest intraconference schedule as wellI get all the metrics
What bothers me is an SEC team can lose 8of 10 series and get a bid
There aren't anyWho are the bright bulbs on this selection committee?
We absolutely have the toughest draw. When you have SEC fans feeling sorry for you and saying how screwed we got, it’s pretty telling.ESPN just said we had the toughest draw…
That's one time we agree on something.ESPN just said we had the toughest draw…
I’ll take Tenn. over playing Coastal.FSU gets St John’s, Northern Illinois and Coastal…
as the ******* 10 seed. **** the committee
Emotion and strong dislike makes it tough. And what is brutal about it? A bubble team in ECU, a barely above bubble team in VCU, and Tennessee that ain’t 2024 Tenn. Not seeing what is brutal about it at all. Big names, don’t make it brutal.
I would 100% rather have Coastal. FSU’s regional is a joke.I’ll take Tenn. over playing Coastal.
Coastal has completely fallen off a cliff the past 3 weeksI’ll take Tenn. over playing Coastal.
So let's do data analysis. And what is brutal about it? A bubble team in ECU, a barely above bubble team in VCU, and Tennessee that ain’t 2024 Tenn. Not seeing what is brutal about it at all. Big names, don’t make it brutal.
That is bonkersSo let's do data analysis.
Based on DSR, we got the fourth-highest 2, third-highest 3, and fourth-highest 4 of any host in the field.
If you limit it to top-8, we got the highest 2, the highest 3, and highest 4 of any top-8 seed in the field along with the potential highest-ranked Supers match-up.
Our path is quantitatively harder than any top-8 seed. By a lot.
This...Just VCU being the 4 makes it tougher than an average bracket. For example, they are 82 in RPI while South Dakota St (who 13 Nebraska got) is #239. The highest seeds in the tournament should get the chance to manipulate their pitching if they choose.
They were told to save the NCAA money and make it drivable if possible. Only explanation. We very clearly should have switched 4 seeds with West Virginia (Binghamton).This...
Here are the RPI rankings for the 16 #4 seeds:
82
88
89
90
102
118
119
140
144
155
177
199
201
227
238
239
And the #5 National Seed gets the highest ranked 4 seed? Someone make sense out of that.
Seriously - go away.If Forbes is so great then why such the meltdowns regarding who we might have to play from the usuals complainers? No excuses.....Omaha or bust.
I could be mistaken but I believe UNC gets to pick which time slot they play being the Regional host. Not only is the draw relatively tough, them putting Tennessee/ECU in the bracket means it’s a game ESPN wants to put on TV at noon so we can’t even play first like we want to do.
Not if ESPN decides they want one of the games on linear TV (ESPN2/ESPNU). We picked the early game last year when they didn't pick the 2/3 game for tv. This year Tennessee/ECU is at noon on ESPNU. LSU was on TV in the early game in 2024 too.I could be mistaken but I believe UNC gets to pick which time slot they play being the Regional host.
Agree on the #4 seed but I think Oklahoma State wins that regional. They can hitAnyone see Alabama’s regional?? Their 3 seed is the same RPI as our 4 seed (83). Their 4 seed is 177!! Oh, and their 2 is ok st. Who is a mediocre team from the big 12, not the sec.
Tenn has an ELO of 16 and DSR of 17… both much better indicators of how good a team is vs. RPI, imo.
And we’re above freaking auburn in every single major ranking.
What a freaking joke. Especially the 4 seed!
Should have finished 6th and they could be a national seedTennesee finished 10th in their conference
10th
If we win Sunday, we get WVU instead of Texas A&M. Strange we didn't seem to recognize how important that game was to our probability of winning the national championship. We can still do it, lets go boys! They were told to save the NCAA money and make it drivable if possible. Only explanation. We very clearly should have switched 4 seeds with West Virginia (Binghamton).

ETA: and likely UCF instead of Tennessee...
I'm guessing, sure. But we were ranked #2 in the country for a month and then win the ACC tournament over a very strong Georgia Tech club...I don't see how we would have been anything lower than the #3 seed. In this bracket, there is a huge difference between #3 and #5 unfortunately in terms of probabilities to advance. You seem to be under the belief the conference tournament significantly impacted things. That doesn’t seem to be the case considering things like Mississippi State being selected for a host over Arkansas and NC State being in over Pitt.
