Dear Abby,
My neighbor has 2 cannabis plants. How can I kill these plants from like 30 feet away?

So Wait till he is by said plants , and then walk up tell him you are gonna kill it , and try pulling it from the ground.

Not me. The math is wrong. The middle term on the check uses the formula e^(ix)=cos x + i*sin x so e^(i*pi)=cos pi+ i*sin pi=-1+i*0= -1. The last term is a geometric series which sums to 1. So the last two terms sum to zero. From there…

The mistake in the screenshot is that on the check the middle term is e^(i*pi) while in the typed explanation the middle term is e^(2*pi).

Got off a good line at the gym today. I was wearing a Gallaudet shirt and someone (who already knew I was deaf) asked about it.

“I taught there for 38 years.”
“Really? Cool. What did you teach?”
“Mathematics. I’ve got a doctorate.”
“Dang, cool. Good for you.”
“Well, I was planning on being a medical doctor but I couldn’t hear the guys cough.”
