Outside the box thinking. Illinois could think about fouling Malachi Smith while their fouls only give UConn a 1+1

2 plays showed the deal with the devil UConn has

point blank 2 footer rolls all over the rim and falls off after 3 seconds - then a 3 pointer that had no business going in bounces straight up and falls thru the net.

It’s unreal.

Hurley making the classic Cal mistake the past few positions. Slowed his offense down and playing stall ball. Lead isn’t big enough to do that, I’m sure he will adjust but something I noticed.

Amazing how many shots Illinois has had get every part of the rim and come back off compared to multiple times UConn got weird bounces to fall in over the course of a single game.

This is the only acceptable answer.

Zona hasn't won one since 97 (being the only team to ever beat THREE one seeds in a single run- including us)
UM only has one and that was in freaking 1989
And Illinois has never won one.

I'm rooting for the Illini first, UM second and Zona third.
Right there with you. UConn looks pretty good right now with under 8 to go but maybe Illinois can get hot. Here’s hoping.

UConn bailing them out.... Illinois can't even make a point blank layup. Thankfully they got it back.

4 point game!!! Have a feeling a 3 is coming though for the huskies

bad timeout by illinois. trying to show up hurley because hurley’s to at 6 min was basically set play to set things straight and win. you wanted game pressure on uconn there. now it really may be over. gave uconn extra set plays.
