WHEN he WINS it for IOWA at 197!!!If he AAs for a fourth school he will be the first to do that.
Love the Ferraris but 2 is our limit… And we all know which 2 we would want.Actually what he “reported” is Brands wants “all 3.”
I don’t trust him on anything related to Iowa. That said, he seems to have a connection to the Ferraris. So I’m torn on the accuracy.
But…if accurate…total despiration by Brands. Instead of just saying no, BG should get it over with and show him the door. But short of that, kudos to her for once again being the adult in the room.
Love the optimism but in reality going to need a lot more than that. Sweeping 184 through 285 Saturday night would be a good start and possibly a tight race for 2nd.WHEN he WINS it for IOWA at 197!!!
Then B1G Ben seals the deal on the NC TITLE by winning Heavy!!!!
AND SIR IRON HAWK has EVERYONE saying once AGAIN!!!! YOU B RIGHT SON!!!!!
Let me see your scenario and raise you a more likely scenario.WHEN he WINS it for IOWA at 197!!!

There a been lots of chitter chat in Lincoln about Tercel, James Green, and especially Bryan Snyder moaning to Manning about A.J. just plain not listening to them. Watch the end of a couple the matches and you can see their disgust. If I were a betting man, I’d wager that A.J. was asked to find a new a new parking spot. TNT know A.J. well so they will know what they are buying.Other than awaiting trial for a 3rd degree felony for evading arrest in October, being nabbed in his car going 90 because he was late for a flight to turn himself in for those charges, and accusing the guy who beat his *** of using PEDs, he was really well behaved.

AJ is one thing but taking Anthony back makes no sense. We have Ryder at 149 and that's the weight he said he was going when entering the portal.Actually what he “reported” is Brands wants “all 3.”

Totally agree.AJ is one thing but taking Anthony back makes no sense. We have Ryder at 149 and that's the weight he said he was going when entering the portal.
Were you expecting something different out of Lincoln? Were going to miss him so much, such a good teammate and talent? How was Mo talked about when he entered portal a few months ago? Anyway, we should see the usual " we wish him well" from Manning soon. There a been lots of chitter chat in Lincoln about Tercel, James Green, and especially Bryan Snyder moaning to Manning about A.J. just plain not listening to them. Always thought Anthony had academic issues. Not saying he is dumb, just full time college curriculum isn't for everybody. Anyway, he seems the type that doesn't mind riding the pine for a little cash and free college classes.AJ is one thing but taking Anthony back makes no sense. Put the bong down and step away from it please. There are others waiting their turn… hopeium is an evil drug.WHEN he WINS it for IOWA at 197!!!

Went over the lineup before, will do here againLove the optimism but in reality going to need a lot more than that. Sweeping 184 through 285 Saturday night would be a good start and possibly a tight race for 2nd.
Funny how yo panties are getting tight huh?????Let me see your scenario and raise you a more likely scenario.
Ferrari loses to Barr in the semi, claims he was injured in the quarter, has proof that Barr is a cyborg, forfeits to sixth costing Iowa a fourth place trophy by a point to Iowa State.
No one remembers your claim because it is one of a million silly ones lost is a sea of capitals, exclamation points, bad spelling, and tortured grammar.
"hopeium" some new SHEeeeet?????Put the bong down and step away from it please. There are others waiting their turn… hopeium is an evil drug.
Not for sure what you mean by upset but if you mean cracking the line up, the only one with a outside chance that I know of would be Mocco next year but assume he will wrestle his 6 matches and redshirt. What frosh recruits do we have coming in that could upset this line up?

Another hopium addict? This is a dangerous time; 5-6 months STRAIGHT up banging optimism. A steady drip of daily fixes….Put the bong down and step away from it please. There are others waiting their turn… hopeium is an evil drug.
He looked like he could use one more year to develop. Gabe was facing a year on the bench and he was a bigger recruit.I don't think he'd leave over taking a back seat for 1 year. 1. He and his father both are all in on Iowa; Iowa actually was his dream team and I'm well aware he committed to ASU first. 2. He would still get a lot of wrestling in. He'd get several tourneys, probably more than a few duals. Unless you think you're sacrificing a sure fire AA placement, you're really not losing much.
Mirisola is better than Harvey, and he will be lucky to get 1 year in the line up. If they land Hutcherson in 28 class, he would have to redshirt just for him to get that year.Definitely a risk. Would hate to lose Harvey.
Top 15 p4p recruits aren’t going to exhaust a year of eligibility to be in Iowas room in this day in age.Mirisola is better than Harvey, and he will be lucky to get 1 year in the line up. If they land Hutcherson in 28 class, he would have to redshirt just for him to get that year.
197 was a tough cut for him, but it was also a big part of his success. We could use Harvey a fair amount to give him some eeeks off not having to make weight. I don’t think it would end like Bouzakis, because AJ never had gas tank problems even with the big cut. This will be the 3rd and final offseason we get to speculate about AJ coming here, and it will most likely end in the same way.He was 240s but ended the year 222-225 depending on the day . He was in the 220s while wrestling 197 in the past. He's a 197
Harvey didn't look all that like in high school when he started wrestling college big guys but still have hope he could be a great 97 going forward. Just hoping with a little skepticism mixed in after last year.Mirisola is better than Harvey, and he will be lucky to get 1 year in the line up. If they land Hutcherson in 28 class, he would have to redshirt just for him to get that year.
With his hot seat being talked about nationally all year, are you surprised he’s desperate and pulling all the stops for what could be his final year?Actually what he “reported” is Brands wants “all 3.”

Guarantee Mineo has no access to Beth Goetz' office and very doubtful he has any contacts close enough to Brands. This sounds nothing more than wishful thinking or random rumors he is hoping are true. Our favorite Pat mineo is reporting that brands wants Ferrari for 97 but Goetz is not signing off on that…do with that what you will![]()

He looked like a fish on the fileting tableDid you watch his match with Bastida? I’m surprised Bastida didn’t get charged with assault.
Let me add one more name to the list of people hopefully it doesn't negatively impact: Stephen Buchanan.Regarding Ludington, I really hope any decision made doesn’t impact his status at Iowa. Obviously there were some tough results last year but I do think he has a very high ceiling. Iowa is still one of the best places he could be with our success at the upper weights over the past few years. If that means wrestling as a backup for a year then that’s what needs to happen.
Anyways, it might be a moot point because I am inclined to believe there is some truth to the reporting that AJ is still not going to be allowed at Iowa. If Beth does not believe it’s in the University’s best interest to allow him here then she should not bend to cater towards desperation.
I did think about that but don't think AJ is dumb enough to risk his goals and money to say anything. Or do you think he may have said this to somehow further his plan?Seems to me he’s pretty tied to the Ferraris. I notice you forgot to mention their side.
As glowingly as Angelo has talked about Buchanan (interestingly I never once heard him say anything about Endene although that may have just been a coincidence) and as much respect as AJ has shown towards him even when AJ lost to him last year, I think it would only help both guys. He'd make Kueter better as well if their matches this year are any indication and they were already working out together AJ's first trip through Iowa City and judging by social media got along quite well. AJ and Buchanan might be same freestyle weight and AJ has talked about freestyle but I really don't ever see him doing anything with it beyond maybe RAF where he'd have specific matches they could sell. Love to be wrong though, I'm actually curious how he and Angelo would do in freestyle. Desanto and Buchanan both started with little experience and are flourishing, Caliendo also hadn't done much and looked like a fish out of water his first go last year, then turned around and won U23s a few months later.Let me add one more name to the list of people hopefully it doesn't negatively impact: Stephen Buchanan.

What if BK is getting healthy and wanting to focus on football now? 285 could be the plan til Mocco is ready to go
I would think with knowing there’s 8 months to adjust his body through diet and changes to his lifting program he could shrink and have no problem making 197. As u said. Tank was never really an issue197 was a tough cut for him, but it was also a big part of his success. We could use Harvey a fair amount to give him some eeeks off not having to make weight.
