He has a huge upside for the Hawks. Especially if he can take on 97 and give Harvey another year. Very little trouble in Nebby other than the warrant in the past for a traffic infraction. Would make Angelo happy. Certainly going to have stipulations from Tom and the AD. I say let's gamble.

I think he would be much less of a gamble than Williams was, and would put the work and effort in.

Other than awaiting trial for a 3rd degree felony for evading arrest in October, being nabbed in his car going 90 because he was late for a flight to turn himself in for those charges, and accusing the guy who beat his *** of using PEDs, he was really well behaved.

🙄
If he recovers from that life-threatening injury in the semis. Did you see the pain he was in? I cried.

Does anyone know what he weighed in at this year and what his actual weight was?

If he was weighing in the mid 220s throughout the year, 197 shouldn't be a problem. I'm down with it. If we're going down, might as well make it entertaining.
I’m opposed to bringing in AJ at the risk of losing Ludington for 3 years. If Ludington was in on this plan than great. If Ludington isn’t ready than that’s a different story.

I don't think he'd leave over taking a back seat for 1 year. 1. He and his father both are all in on Iowa; Iowa actually was his dream team and I'm well aware he committed to ASU first. 2. He would still get a lot of wrestling in. He'd get several tourneys, probably more than a few duals. Unless you think you're sacrificing a sure fire AA placement, you're really not losing much.

I don't really want AJ, but compared to JWill this is really nothing.

But given that massive failure I doubt our admin would sign off on an athlete with a checkered past again so quickly.

This is where your head coach gets paid what he is worth.

#1 He needs an NCAA waiver to be able to complete, that's not a given.

#2 He needs to get admitted to Iowa and Beth has to approve, that's not a given.

#3 Tom would need to want him, likely at 197, but we have Harvey. He likes his guys.
What if BK is getting healthy and wanting to focus on football now? 285 could be the plan til Mocco is ready to go the following year.

To be fair he was probably right about the 30ish yr old Cuban being on PED’s.

Don’t forget doing splits in a match where his team got their asses kicked while his coach and team captains were waiving him off the mat. No humility or respect at all. He’s a cancer for whatever team adds him.

Sure, wrestled all year long and took that heavily favored Nebraska team and made them drop all the way to 3rd place.................
