    I think the athletics department is making plenty of money to house and feed SS. Pretty sure not a dime of taxpayer money is being used considering the athletics dept. returns money to the school every year.

    Being the coach of UK requires much more than just a coach. Love him or hate him, the guy has the personality to handle everything that comes with being the CEO of UK basketball. Based on the way he talks about UK, I think it's his dream job. Give him the UK platform, recruiting capabilities...

    I'm not buying we haven't had time to put in a zone either. These guys have been playing basketball their entire life. We have experienced players. They know how to play a simple zone defense! They have probably been playing it since elementary school.

    People forget Kofi's main reason for coming back was so that he could work on his mid-range and long-range shooting based on NBA feedback. No way Cal was going to give that kid the freedom to "learn" how to shoot when we are trying to win games and have better outside weapons on the bench.

    Problem is that every year the freshman choke under the pressure and lights of the NCAA tournament the deeper they get. We don't even win in 2012 unless Miller doesn't step up and hit big shots down the stretch.

    Maybe but then why are these stats basically even? Opponents have been called for basically the same number at UK vs. opponents on their home court (@UK 110 vs @op home 107) UK has shot 2% fewer free throws on the road than at home (@UK 135 vs @op 132)

    Never understand why it is that if this happens in a public place or even in someones home people are going to jail but if it happens in a college or professional sport no one does.
