Do with this what you will

Slightly underwhelming, but if he brings Marion along with him as OC I would be intrigued. Better than Lebby but would rather have Sumrall

    Lebby interviewed today

Fire a first year coordinator turned coach just to hire another coach with no HC experience?

A name for coach no one has mentioned…

Fair point. My main point still stands on BO - he had less than success of a Mullen at a school with the same/better relative success as MSU historically. I do like the two OC hires he has made at UNLV (Petrino prior to Marion) and Marion.

A name for coach no one has mentioned…

Odom never really turned the corner at Mizzou despite the fact his predecessor had some success. He’s a defensive minded coach, too. this will probably be unpopular because of his lack of HC experience but Odoms OC Brennan Marion is going to land a HC job eventually and we might as well run...

Just don’t give me the wishbone offense....

Remember the Relf Coast Offense in 2009-10? A lot of triple in that offense under Mullen.

Paul says Cohen interviewed the following in ATL today:

these service academy coaches are basically limited to Wishbone triple. That doesn’t mean that’s the only option they can run. They are very good at adapting to suit their personnel. Although if we were going after an option service coach I’d prefer Ken Niumatalolo

LOCKED - Why does Ole Miss hate Tate Reeves so much? Didn't he graduate from

I mean look at his haircut. Also, some recent(ish) tweets come to mind..

    Someone mentioned Hank Flick yesterday....

Flick was great both as a teacher and announcer. Two moments in class i'll never forget: - Flick always dogged on someone in class, usually if you didn't participate, were late, or said something dumb; But, usually he meant it to be both condescending and uplifting all at the same time...

    Update on Gus and Auburn

Yes he does, and it helps it's an odd year with arguably three of their toughest opponents at home. Watch, they'll go 10-2 or 9-3 and be unable to fire him, yet again.. Or, he'll lose early to LSU on the road and they'll fire him after that (a la Les Miles @ Auburn 2016)

    Bowl rumors

I agree, as a biased individual who lives less than an hour from BofA. I know it's a haul for majority of our fan base, but Charlotte is a good bowl destination from a city standpoint. Nice stadium, too. But, again, I'm biased.

    ND

Agreed. Anyone who bitches about their schedule just look and see Clemson hasn’t exactly had a stronger schedule, yet gets the benefit of the doubt. Common opponents: ND blew them out, too. Except maybe swap Syracuse and Pitt (the former Clemson struggled with; the latter ND). Fact is they...

    Past bulldog bash

I believe it was 2009 (pre Auburn 3-2) Jason Isbell played BDB on an off-main stage in front of a relatively small crowd. Awesome show, I remember talking with him some afterwards.

Do you agree with this quote from Rosebowl?

Charleston So ran triple offense, and prob had less than 50 plays ran last year. Total yards isn't end all be all. The key stat to compare is YPP and I bet they are similar from last year vs CHSO. We may give up more yards this year overall based on the fact we should increase our big play...

Not to start a jet envy thing, but...

not to get all 'jet-gate', but I think I saw somewhere the 'Jimbo Jet' belongs to a main booster and board of regents member, and not the school itself?
