What did we learn week 6!?!?!

Many, including myself, may have drank the Kool-Aid from all the points they put up the first 5 weeks every game. You have a point, but the final score hides the fact that the productive Bradley offense had little heartbeat aside from early and very late in the game. Looks like a lot of work...

    SouthWest Valley talk

Since inception and as of Friday, the 3 "Valley" named schools are 0-7 vs any of the 3 LW schools. Beyond those three, Naperville North is 2-1, Naperville Central 1-2 and DeKalb 0-3. That would be 3-13 overall in that set of match-ups.

    Thornton to blame -SICA

Please enlighten us with the missed opportunities you see, especially compared to the old SICA. The SSC all have 2 locked in non-cons Weeks 1 & 2 annually to play who they choose. A yearly cross-over with an opposite division team with a similar record is in place. The only 2 programs that...

    Thornton to blame -SICA

The South Suburban Conference with its 2 divisions of 7 teams managed to form solidly after the SICA blow-up following the adding of Lemont. Outside of a little travel to the latter, the rest of the schools are close for all sports as they are probably at 20 years with their existing...

    Thornton to blame -SICA

Under current conditions, Bradley would never lose a conference game. We will see what they really have tonight at LWC.

    SouthWest Prairie thread...

Fourteen regular season games into the Southwest Valley conference experiment, the 3 Valley schools are 0-6 vs any of the 3 LincolnWay schools, Dekalb is 0-2, Naperville North is 2-1 and Naperville Central 1-2, making for 3-11 overall. Maybe some buyer's remorse going on behind the rumbles of...

What did we learn week 5?!?!?

The RB who went down 2nd quarter vs Providence or another injury since then?

What did we learn week 5?!?!?

Both Central and West have yet to host undefeated Bradley-Bourbonnais during the next 3 weeks. Central gets first taste this Friday.

    LWW 17 - LWC 12. F

Not to take anything away from LWW, but LWC is extremely overrated. Bradley-Bourbonnais will likely run circles around them.

0-3 teams who in the most jeopardy of missing the playoffs?

Four of the 10 from the Southwest Valley Conference, 2 from each division. Not sure how to interpret that, if at all.

0-3 teams who in the most jeopardy of missing the playoffs?

As I-55 runs parallel to the Chicago Sanitary & Ship Canal in SW Chicagoland, it is more of a N/S divider.

0-3 teams who in the most jeopardy of missing the playoffs?

How about turning the thread title around to read "3-0 teams in jeopardy of not making the playoffs." I saw an article in a local paper today gushing over current unblemished records of a few surprise schools who must have had some really soft non-cons. However, given their remaining...

    Bears: 2025

Way too much "saying the right thing" (before/after a game) and not enough "doing the right thing" (during the game). That includes management, coaches and players. Will there be an Angel Reese-like moment on the Bears to try and shake things up in some way? Probably not.

    The Lincoln-Way

I think Bradley-Bourbonnais could factor into this prediction. They can definitely move the ball and put up points. However, neither West nor Central play the Boilers down in B-town this season.

Biggest surprise from Week 2 of the IHSA Football season?

Bradley - 41, Crete - 6 and the resulting shine taken off Richards' 51-41 win off the latter last week.
