    Current Roster Overview

You guys are working really hard. Thanks for keeping up with all this. I am glad there’s not a Spring portal. This would be a.cluster if that was still an option.

Any noise on a portal RB?

Didn't we just sign a RB from Ohio State? I read that somewhere.

So let's break down the OL portal situation....

If Indiana, who came out of nowhere; can build a really good offence line so can we.

No more Dawgs, Buckeyes or Crimson Tide . . . . I like it!

It is surprising that Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia are all out. I know I would not have expected that back in September. I guess I am pulling for Ole Miss. That’s a surprise too because l really don’t like Kiffin. Obviously, it looks like Indiana will probably prevail. However it’s college...

    Hollywood Smothers

Daylan (Hollywood) Smothers formerly from NC State is in the portal. He played high school ball here in Charlotte and originally signed with Oklahoma. My son went to State so I've watched all their games this season. He is the real deal and just what we need at running back. Also he has two...

    Big ten vs SEC

I hate to admit this but the Big 10 is better than the SEC this season. I’m not Georgia fan but I think they could hang with Indiana. Otherwise the next three in the SEC are not as strong as the Big 10s next three in my opinion.

    Portal Players

One thing I've noticed about many of the players who jump into the portal is they do it multiple times. Obviously, this could be due to NIL deals. I see we're losing WR Jacobs. His new team will be #3. It appears for some of these guys loyalty means nothing. I guess I'm old fashioned. My hope is...

    Let's Go Alabama!****

That really was quite a performance. There’s no question IU is really good. However I watched them play Penn State and it was very close. I hate to say this but I think what we saw tonight was that Alabama just isn’t as good as some thought. Maybe I’m wrong. I just think Oregon and either UGA...

    Does the portal fix it?

I agree. I like both Fuller and Howell too. I think they will both get better if the OL improves. However, if there is another Rocket Sanders available in the portal we need to get him. He was a big part of our success in 2024.

Sixth...now seventh...now eighth olineman enters portal

I think most posters here agree that we need to get better on the offensive line to compete in the SEC. It appears we have a top notch OL coach now. So hopefully we can rebuild with recruits and finding experienced guys in the portal. Losing six OL players sounds bad on the surface but from what...

Portal madness: of the eight 5* QBs from the '23 and '24 classes, only one has not transferred

II' not a fan of the portal either. Some of these kids are on their third team. I wish they would change the rule to allow only one transfer unless the coach leaves or is fired. I understand everything today is instant gratification and it's all about money. However, building a program is way...

Clemson playing bowl in Yankee stadium

Well the Tigers didn’t look very good today. I know at least one (and maybe both)of our new coaches were there for PSU. It’s interesting that the preseason #4 team and their preseason Heisman candidate could only score one touchdown. I’m sure the cold affected them, but Penn State played pretty...

I think Beamer is doing a great job

Great post. Prepare to get hammered by all the naysayers on this site. Apparently being positive is very unpopular to some of them.

    Harbor is returning too

Looks like the Cocks hit a trifecta. Sellers, Stewart and Harbor are all going to play for Beamer and all the new coaches next season. I actually thought they all would come back but wasn’t sure. As is usually the case, I am cautiously optimistic about the 2026 team.

The biggest missing piece in this year's football season was the lack of...

From my perspective, the two biggest problems this season were the offensive line's poor performance and Shula's trying to make Sellers a pure drop-back passer. I still cannot fathom how A&M held us scoreless in the second half of that game. Adding one field goal would have given us a W.
