    When Phillips was really rolling, they were run by a charter. The same that charter that ran Solario Academy. They were not run by CPS. Charters have the ability to admit/reject anyone, and they also can compensate coaches/teachers differently than CPS. They are not run by the charter anymore...

    Morgan Park for sure. It is a neighborhood school with a boundary. Ag is a selective enrollment school, so they can get kids from all over the city if they qualify.

    Truth. Are there selective enrollment schools that enroll kids from all over the city? Yes. Can anyone attend? No. If kids could enroll in any school, some of my favorite football matchups (Bogan vs Collins anyone??) wouldn't exist anymore. The CPL hate is strong.

    While I have only known it as Stagg, I have watched a number of games parked on Aberdeen just on the opposite side of the field from Stagg Elementary. I've watched kids climb the fence under the scoreboard while I munch on my catfish nuggets from Mr. J's. The tradition lives on!
