The Son by Phillip Meyer is the best book i have read in a long. Anything by James Lee Burke. The Prey series and the Virgil Flowers series by John Sandford are my favorite series if you like a book series. Also agree about 11/22/1963, fantastic. Also, the Dark Tower series by Steven King was great.
