    You’re being so slow. It doesn’t count in the numerator, or denominator, for any coach when calculating their championship winning percentage because the tournament was canceled. 2020 as a year happened, but the tournament didn’t. If you wanna be obtuse about their phrasing & intent you do you.

    I’m most surprised by Spencer not fishing the takedowns. He finishes 2 out of 3 of those and he wins. Seems like an issue Iowa has had frequently over the years

    Ah yes, because Iowa wrestling is a walking zombie of a program. You could make the same dumb comment about dozens of coaches at C-List programs compared to Iowa, and how if they were here instead of TnT they would have the same success yada yada yada

    worst thing about this loss & Spencers potentially serious injury is that I thought Spencers single leg was looking the best it’s looked in awhile against Luke. Dont know why he didn’t put much effort in trying to finish those though, but given the hawkeyes recent struggles in finishing shots it...

    No, because Lilledahl got awarded the push out so it was effectively a 2 point swing. Going into the last sequence instead of it being 4-3 Spencer it would have been 5-2 Spencer, 5-4 post head lock
