We weren't great this year and on paper our team looks much weaker next year especially with no inside game to speak of. Keep drinking Cal's Kool-Aid but I'm not buying it anymore. We've had a golden path to the F4 the last two years and played like doggy doo because young players tighten up when the pressure's on. We need some continuity not 5-6 new OAD's every year.Sounds like next season is going to be a complete disaster!
Herro is a white kid with a lot of swag and a ballers game. He’s not a typical “Dukie” type white kid, if that makes sense. There’s a reason he chose UK.
Cal brings in top talent. The problem is they leave. One and done rosters peak out in Elite 8. It will never win championships consistently. Like it or leave it.
I’ve been asking for awhile why are we wasting roster spots? Seems 10 might be 1 to many at UK while most other programs have 13 guys on scholarship. I remember the days when we had 15.

LOL our roster is set minus 1 spot . The 2nd PF spot. Such an overreaction. We need a 2nd PF to go with Sestina . We find that in Mcdaniels or someone like him we are the hands down #1 team next year. We are freaking set with the best starting back court with Hagans and Maxey . I mean is there another back court that has 2 possible top 20 picks AND former 5 star as a back up . ( not to mention Baker who is damn good too) Then at SF we have Whitney , a top 10 projected pick and Brooks a guy with a load of talent. Also Allen isn't chopped liver . We just need a 2nd PF to join EJ , Richards and Nate in the front court.

I wonder how many titles Pitino would have had with this talent. With all his moral faults he can flat out coach. When he finally got the roster fixed after probation he won a title in 96 runner up in 97 because Anderson was injured and his player won in 98 although Tubby gets that credit and the next year the remains of that team got knocked out of the elite 8 by MSU. We will never know but he won a title at U of L with lots less talent than Cal has had.
