Cal created One-and-Done? LOL. The NBA will be surprised to hear that.

Maybe what you meant to say is he adapted to it brilliantly so that Kentucky could win a National Championship, go to Four Final Fours and Seven Elite Eights and be the winningest program, in terms of both regular season games and NCAA tournament games, during the OAD era created by the NBA.

And you must have missed the announcements on Maxey, Whitney, Brooks, Allen and Sestina -- three 5-stars, a high 4-star who is the best player coming out of Kentucky and a Top-2 Grad Transfer.

Calipari doesn't bring in good players? Hmm, news to me. All these players leave early, not just at UK. I don't know how anyone can take issue with PJ, KJ and Herro going. I guess we can try to pay our players like LSU, UNC, Duke, KU, etc. IS that what you are advocating OP? Please advise.

What's coming in isn't as good as what's going out. Maxey is the only guy who's ready for prime time at this point. Whitney can't shoot, Brooks is a tweener and Allen probably wasn't going to play much before the injuries anyway. And Sestina may turn out to be decent but he's probably not as good as Reid.

So tell us how next year is going to end better than this one?

I got zero problem with recruiting .. Cal is by far good enough to satisfy this fan , my gripes are after they get here , mainly on offense . But Landing that blackshear guy from Va would be large

To earn that 10 million a year and fill some roster spots with some high-quality Players He has created this one and done monster so he needs to fulfill it
Some programs have been doing dirty deeds, not dirt cheap for several years now. Hopefully the recent media attention scares that away, because UK is forbade to play those reindeer games.

I don't take issue at all with the players. They're just doing what they've been told to do. Remember, coming to Ky is about draft night not Championships.

Washington was the bread and butter of the team we have no one to take his place

I would disagree. Hagans and EJ will be much improved and I like the additions. We aren’t playing 2019 KY we are playing 2020 everyone else. I wouldn’t mind one more big but think it will be a fun team to watch.

Sounds like next season is going to be a complete disaster!

I agree. I would like to see cal even use the scholarships he doesn't use for Kentucky kids. Why not get a 3* or 4* you can mold into a darius miller type
Because Cal isn't a fortune teller. And doesn't have a crystal ball telling him who can be a Darius Miller type player. If it was that easy we'd have a couple on ever years team wouldn't we?

It never has been about only championships. Or if it has been, we have sucked *** with only winning 8.

It’s two players.

If any of you expected Tyler to come back, I don’t see how you function in the real world. It’s been a decade. We should know how this works by now.

Whitney shot 37% on 103 attempts this past summer in the eybl. He’ll be better than Keldon. Maxey could very well have as much or more impact than Herro, albeit in a different way. PJ will be hard to replace but Hagans, Nick, and Montgomery will all improve at least a little. I’d say next year’s team looks about on par with this year’s personally. And they could very well be better.

How does cal not earn his pay! Some people you just can’t lead to water
This years team was good enough to win it all they just didn’t. Winning the tournament is hard! Look at how lucky UVA was. They got a lot of calls and the ball bounced their way a lot too. Sometimes that’s what it takes.

Agree, but keep in mind lots of fans aren't happy people and blame Cal for it. It's fun to watch them bumble around. lol

Because the tournament is random. And Cal has made Final Fours with teams that had less talent. Like 2011 and 2014, for example.

2011 and 2014 he was still getting top 5 talent. He's not now. And we're still not retaining these guys after 1 year.

You really think we'll get those calls? All it takes is a rogue ref like Higgins or Shows and there's nothing you can do about it. Cal has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way over the years.
