Scouts have him at the end of the lotto, some have him mid lotto. His stock only went up due to his shooting since most scouts were concerned with that, they now have no concerns about it

That's good news for us. I think he's going to miss the lottery. Early in the year he was there, but I think he lost ground as the season progressed.

Is it the same scout that said take Fultz 1? Don’t see anyway Keldon is lotto unless he just shoots amazing at workouts.

Will flame out of the NBA in 3 years. Major disappointment & one of the biggest reasons UK did not make the Final Four.

Would of course love for Keldon to return. But it's not a must. I think Whitney will be better.

One thing I do know with or without Herro. We are gonna be stacked with guards. Hagans, Quickley, Maxey, Baker. We are absolutely gonna have the guards to take us far.

Just hope we got the rim protectors next year. Everything else is there.

Your silly as hell lol. We shot 53 percent from the FT line and had to deal with are two most important players being out of the lineup at crucial times. This team was playing some great team ball up to the Travis injury. 14 ppg and 6 rpg on 45+ and 38+ is not a disappointing season for a freshman.

Any foreigners?

I just wish she'd stop slobbering herself to be the one to be the first to post negative news so I could put her on ignore.
Lmfao I hope you understand how ridiculous this comment is. So you’re saying he’s the only way for you to get negative news? Pretty sure it’ll still find it’s way on the board. Even if it doesn’t, if you ignored him then you wouldn’t have to see negative news anymore which you hate so much.

But we all know that has nothing to do with why you won’t put him on ignore. You don’t put him on ignore because you love complaining about his posts and stalking him too much.

All of those above, plus PJ and at least 2 foreigners. 18th at best?

-PJ
-Jaxson Hayes from UT
-Nickiel Alexander-Walker
-KZ Okpala From Stanford
-Naz Reid
-1 or 2 foreigners that always go lottery
-I’d have to think Carson Edwards will be around there too.
-Cam Johnson has borderline lotto potential. He’s a better fit for the current nba than Keldon.

I could see all of those guys testing well and going ahead of Keldon.

There’s zero chance he goes in the top 10. Id be fairly surprised he goes in the top 15.

Interesting that he references being a lottery pick in his statement.
Speaking for myself only, if I had the season he just had (normal Freshman season, not bad at all BTW), I wouldn’t allow a GM to take me lottery. Two reasons why: 1. I wouldn’t feel like I was deserving. 2. I’d feel personally responsible when the GM got fired. I love KJ as a player, but no. Maybe next year.

I tend to tiptoe on eggshells depending on the thread discussion, but you man, you just walk all over them with size 13 Combat Boots lol.

Nice deflecting. It’s really kinda sad that you’re just begging for attention from @JFCats22 and it’s clear he doesn’t seem to ever even think about you.

I can't see the post you are quoting but guarantee I know who wrote it. The weird obsession/cyber stalking by that dude is creepy. I've had to report him numerous times and he is close to seeing himself off this board.

Johnson is not returning. If he comes back, he has two other players at his position. Time will be split and he will not be the showcase.

I don’t like the whole agent thing. I mean, the agent is going to push the kid to sign. That the only way he gets paid. So why would he recommend the kid to come back?

Idk how all this agent stuff work but could the agent possibly think he’ll get a better payday if, sAy for example , KJ goes 9th next year instead of 22nd this year?

I love the fact that the kid left the door open at all. Most on here figured he was gone for sure. KJ was seen as a lottery pick going into college so I can see him wanting to be one and not be satisfied if he isn't. The problem this year is the agents. The fact that he can have one. Agents are going to want to get paid now. I'm sure he can say you could make 2 million more if you wait a year, but in that year you will lose 6 million. I think being able to hire agents and still come back is going to cost u fringe guy and probably would have cost us PJ last year.

You two should meet for lunch somewhere that serves lots of CALifornia WHINE. Don’t drink? Get TNCatfakeffanforever to join you and bring along a six pack of Ale8. When you’re JF’s biggest defender, you know he sukks. [roll]

And look up the definition of “Stalker”.

Watching one miserable excuse for a “fan” take up for another miserable excuse for a “fan” is cute. You’re both bottom of the barrel.

I consider bottom of the barrel someone that cares more about fighting and arguing on message boards than they do the program they claim to love. Several times Cardsstink has stated that the games dont effect him ....... but somehow Zaytoven and JFcats do? Thats strange.

The “Lunchbox miserables” are swarming. They come running when they have the numbers. What’s worse? Me calling out a miserably negative fan or two that NEVER comments on positive happenings for UK or that Wildman-In-STL guy saying UK fans need “to make Cal WANT to leave”.... meaning he suggested our fanbase get ugly towards Cal. Talk about bottom of the barrel....talk about creepy.

Still no comment on Hagans returning? I guess you wore yourself out copying and pasting about PJ and KJ Leaving, Goodman and other losers saying KJ won’t be back, etc.

I didn't really get the "almost assuredly back" vibe. If I was 1/2 outside the lottery I'd still go. Lots of money.

Money is cool but tough to get PT on a team drafting 18-22.

That's the Pacers, the Spurs, the Thunder, the Celtics. He's not starting for any of those teams and will be a backup at best.

Well....
Pretty certain he isn't a lottery pick
Just as sure he won't be back.
Signing an agent would indicate he doesn't plan on it. First round money is first round money..,.guaranteed. no matter if he gets it in the G League.
Payday.....gone.

You guys don’t need him. Brooke's is a stud. I wish we got gotten him. He may have some issues but Cal seems to be good at getting kids like him to buy in for a year. I’ll give Cal that there’s only room for one prima donna at UK and that’s him!

That’s news to me. Haven’t heard one negative thing about him as far as his attitude goes. But you’re right about Cal, he has a real talent for getting kids to buy into the team concept. He is great at managing egos. Didn’t know Brooks had a big one.

I love KJ. I would love to have him back. That being said, he’s not ready for NBA ball. This is my opinion from watching him. He’s athletic, but can’t get to the rim without getting pushed or stuffed often. Gets distracted easily. Shooting is good and then not. Drifts too much. Rebounds well when he chooses to, but forgets to do it.

I have to agree with this. Imo just don't think he is ready yet. Was kind of disappointed with his play late in the season. Another year would do wonders for him but if he is in the 15-20 range I think he is gone.

There may some players that really turn heads in the NBA try outs and there may be some other players that come out from other schools that will push KJ down some.

A lottery pick based on what? Potential? No wonder Magic Johnson finally threw in the towel and walked away. Keldon Johnson could not guard 1/2 the players in the G league much less in the NBA. So what if he can get to the basket in the open court, just about every player in the league can do that. Oh well, if he is gone, he is gone. Several former one and done's say hello and call me.

What a joke college basketball has become. If you look at 20 years ago, Tim Duncan stayed four years, AI stayed two, Ray Allen stayed three, Paul Pierce wasn’t one and done.

You got guys going pro who are guaranteed to be in the G League in no time.
