Waters vs Winston is a matchup of elite point guards right? Reid is lengthy and athletic.

What else do I need to know?
They will be the most athletic team you will have faced all year. Michigan State has to play smart and not play into their hands. If you let them hang around in a close game that could get you beat. If it comes down to coaching you should be OK. But I caution the MSU fans, don't overlook this team.

They are most athletic team you have played this year by far 1-8 . Their undisciplined ways would be their down fall if you beat them. Not sold on their interim coach doesn't seem to be much of an X'&O's guy, so that will be an advantage to Sparty. I think their more capable of taking Cassius out of the game than Sparty is with their main threats Waters and Reid Should be a heck of a game.

They are probably the most talented team in the SEC. They are not a one trick pony. Tremont Waters is the guy who gets the headlines but Naz Reid is strong down low, and Bigby Williams is tremendous at blocking shots and offensive rebounding. Water is far from alone in the backcourt also. Skykar Mays and Javonte Smart can beat you as well. They're both capable of scoring 20. They will be tough to beat, especially if you underestimate them. They are tremendous down the stretch in close games, too. They should have lost about 4-5 more games in the SEC, but they always seem to find a way.

This is correct....one way they found to win, was to goal tend the last shot.

And watch out for Taylor off the bench. Isn’t a big name player and won’t score a lot but they run lob plays for him and he gets up up up. He is athletic as hell and sometimes a big play like that ignites LSU. For an undisciplined team that sometimes gets them zeroed in for a run

Depends on which MSU team shows up! If the one that to play Indiana twice you will get your butt spanked!

I would guess that the line on this game may be even. I don't see it being 1-2 points either way at this time.

LSU beat Kentucky, Auburn and Tennessee, so they can play with any team, it will be two really good teams going at it. LSU has an assistant coaching and State is down a player or two. Michigan State has the tournament experience and the better coach, it could go either way.

I’ll take LSU in this March-up. Is there a chance the they go on a Steve Fisher type run?

LSU is one of the luckiest teams in the country! And they have talent. When all is even it’s hard to beat luck!!

LSU has been very lucky in late game situations and received a favorable whistle in SEC play. If MSU can hit shots, play physical D, and rebound, they will be in it at the end.

I think everyone has it covered. They are lacking discipline to some degree which is often masked by their athleticism. They have a tendency to play hero ball and I've seen that hurt them from a shot selection standpoint.
Key question is can great coaching overcome LSU's athleticism and talent.
