So, as it stands, on March 29, I will be in North Carolina, staying at my wife’s best friends Mountain House. Her friend and her friends husband are huge boosters of UNC (her husband is an alum). It’s in the Mountains, no where else really to go.
March 29 is regional final game day. If both UNC and UK make it to this game (which seems likely), I will be in hell. The husband is the type of fan that can’t handle UNC losing, or even being down in a game without losing his ****. He surely won’t do well with a UK fan in the room if we (UK) are winning. Last time I watched a UNC game with him - UNC v Santa Clara in 2004 - UNC lost. He kicked me out of his house for smiling at the buzzer. He didn’t talk to me for a month, then called and apologized.
I can handle it. But he is also the type that talks ****. It’s like he is possessed during the game and goes into a three day funk if they lose.
What do I do?
