I’ll never understand where Louisville Football Fan got the idea they were any better than any other **** job.

To be fair to Louisville's football team, here are the bowl games they've been in the last 6 years:
  • 2012 Sugar Bowl (win over Florida)
  • 2013 Citrus Bowl (win over Miami)
  • 2014 Belk Bowl (loss against Georgia)
  • 2015 Music City Bowl (win against Texas A&M)
  • 2016 Citrus Bowl (loss against LSU)
  • 2017 Taxslayer Bowl (loss against Miss St)
Plus they had the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner.

Let's be honest, that's a pretty good run of success. And it only makes the complete collapse of the program that much sweeter to me.

wcc — the UofL job hype is carryover from the Big East days, when EVERY team had a hot 2-3 years.

WVU (Rich Rod)
Rutgers (Schiano)
UCoon (Edsell)
Cincy (Jones)
South Florida (Leavitt)
Pittsburgh (Harris)

Quite remarkable, actually.

Oh — and all those coaches ended up being ****.

At what point should we expect to see some defensive improvement? 6 games in and we don’t look the slightest bit better.

Love how he’s played 9 guys and 10 combinations halfway through the half.

It’s a joke with the fake NBA style rotation, only with marginal dudes.

K would be playing 5/6 guys 85% of the minutes with this bunch and letting them grow & gel - it’s like we’re just scrimmaging.

It's inexplicable (or quite damn obvious) how we can get elite athletes year in and year out who can't get by a honk and consistently give the same slow footed honk the matador treatment on defense. It's almost as if our coaching is ****.

Team lacks spirit, enthusiasm and confidence. Haven’t seen it all year, besides Herro and Johnson on occasion.

Still would like to see Green/Herro/Johnson.

Year after year?

I expected much more progress from PJ’s overall game, tbh.

Gets a lot of empty calories and his D is atrocious given his athleticism.

He should be our college Draymond Green, but he’s just not.

This is GYERO, embellishment is a must. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule but I'm starting to think Cal's defensive philosophies are awful. Obviously these kids can't handle switching everything or give the effort to get through screens.

By the way, Herro is our best player. He's better than everyone else at everything a basketball player should do.

Yet. We tend to improve a lot on D under Cal.

I’m as disappointed as anyone by the fact we aren’t where I thought we’d be. I don’t think the hyperbole is necessary, though.

I mean, October was breast cancer awareness month. What the deuce PJ.

Now please turn down UL job Neil Brown, give an L down and say something really demeaning.

Love Reid Travis, but I may have a higher vertical.

Herro with a nice game.

Funny seeing Adrian trying to be like Anth, who’s trying to be like his neighbor.

Josh Allen FTW. What a beast.

Normally in 2018 id wonder what Cal is thinking playing EJ/Richards together

On the other hand. Find something that gets stops.

I’ve been vocal about my feelings that Richards needs to sit ===> that said, he’s playing with more energy than anybody on this team tonight.

I want to see Richards have one good game against a solid opponent. I’m not sure it’s ever happened.
