I hate this half court trap defense. It will help run up the score on a weak opponent but good teams will pass out of the double team and gain an advantage. Build a solid defense for the games that matter.

Also, as string as Reid is physically he has no lift. Definitely a below the rim player. Still a good player just has limitations. I think a good comparison is Josh Harrelson.

Chuck Hayes played below the rim as well

He's not the most talented player and certainly not the most athletically gifted, but he for sure brings a lot to the table. He gets overlooked.

Quade always looks better against weaker competition. We really need him to make baskets when we are struggling against the better teams we'll play later on in the year. Hopefully these early games against the lower level teams will build his confidence.

To be fair, you're talking about his freshman year.

CATS looking OK tonight. No much to complain about IMO for a 9:00 Wednesday start.

I don't think Cals system and young teams are conducive to highschool ears skipping a year to come to Kentucky.

We see how much freshman struggle with other young players around them. This isn't Frank Mason making things easy for Josh Jackson.

Wasn't hard to see this coming.. But Hagans will get there. Hopefully with two years here.

I’m sure it was bad timing on my part but I looked at the coaches when they called that TO and every coach was yelling at a player minus Barbee he was just standing there holding his paper. At least look like your coaching or doing something. Man.

That’s not good then since he was already 19 so he would have been coming in as a 20 year old freshman who would have turned 22 before the end of his freshman year

What is the offensive upside based on from what you’ve seen in college. He looks like he has the least upside than the other guards on offense, his handles are shaken, can’t shoot, decision making is slow

He just looks 17 right now and he is. His upside on both sides of the ball is tremendous though.
