When Joker took over I honestly expected this type of success, and man was I sadly disappointed at his efforts. When Stoops took over I was hype AF with his name and background, and then I watched him coach and I never expected this.

Loved reading the past 6 pages of this thread. Sure, it's always a little volatile and fickle during games, but I don't know that I've ever seen such a swing as tonight. My childhood buddy who I watched the game with has always been hung up on UK's 1980 loss to Tulane in the Superdome (he was there).

UK was up 22-21 with 12 seconds left, Tulane had the ball on their own 6. Aided by 2 UK pass interference calls, Tulane had 2 straight untimed downs, worked their way downfield and kicked a FG to beat us 24-22 with no time remaining. Arguably, that was the first of UK's "Only UK FB could lose this way" losses, and arguably, tonight exorcised that loss. Nobody I know can remember a more improbable UK win.

And Stoops also broke the Florida curse earlier this year.
