I don't think anybody hates that Knox or Booker or whomever blow up when they get to the league. What we hate is when they play like a gash that one game in March where they are needed most, don't show up, then get to the Summer League and play like an All-Star. Where in the F was that vs Kansas State?

Kansas homer beat writer predicting 40-0 this year --->

Bicycles are horrible. I have not ridden one since the day before I received my driver’s license.

I think they should be banned from the roadways of the Commonwealth.

Tennessee football uniforms since switching to Nike: no bueno.

Not that Adidas was doing great things with them, but the look hasn't been great since the John Henderson years. And neither has the team.

Arkansas - inexcusably bad. Their uniforms make me think less of their program. Just because you have the same color scheme as Alabama doesn't mean you have to go nuts to stand out. Nothing wrong with this right here.

Every school that does a complete athletic re-branding ends up screwing over its football uniforms. I guess Georgia's turned out okay but everybody else just got all of their uniforms turned into basketball uniforms, especially Arkansas.

If you can get something to turn the pedals for you with some sort of motor you might be in business. We could call it a motorbicycle or autobike or something. We can work on the name.

EBikes have come a long way and are projecting to be a major portion of bike sales in the near future. They're really just pedal assisted. They look great.

For people of my caliber riding there's not much of a benefit for electronic shifting other than a cool upgrade. Regardless I'm not taking exercise ridicule from a guy who's neck is 25".

I'm not ridiculing you exercising, but the manner in which you do it.

Anth whining about having a "tough ride" because he forgot to charge his electronic bike gear shifters is the most Anth thing ever.

You got electric spandex too?

Going outside the conference, UCLA’s old gold/script lids, powder jerseys, and old gold knickers are somehow underrated. Always a classic, clean look. Haven’t really checked on them in a while, but I’m sure some brand screwed them up.

Only Clown and maybe a couple of others are old enough to answer this, but when I was a kid (1970s), bikes were ridden on the sidewalks, not the streets, no?

When did that change? Late 80s/early 90s?

Due respect to all cyclists here, but IMO, whenever possible, sidewalks are a better / more appropriate place for bikes than streets that have heavy car traffic.

Danger to pedestrians from bikes on sidewalks <<<<<<<< Danger to cyclists from cars on streets.

Almost hit a guy on Athens-Boonesboro out past Athens this weekend. Just leisurely peddling on the downside of a steep, short hill right in the middle of the lane. If you want to ride a bike in the city, fine. But these dudes who get out on windy *** narrow roads and use it as their own personal workout track are the worst. Matt Jones, if you promise to lock those guys up, I'll vote for you for what you decide to run for.

30 years ago, we got to hear incredibly awkward testimony about Clarence Thomas dropping some short and curlies on a Coke can to get Anita Hills privates all hot and steamy.

Legal balls — any chance for similar fireworks this go round? That would be cool.

Cyclists are allowed on the road bc they respect all the same traffic laws as automobiles. Except stop signs. Too hard to stop at all of them so just blow through. Could you imagine starting and stopping all those times?

So basically they adhere to all the laws but that one. F*ck that one, in their opinion.

Cycleballs (and Canucks/Brits...) love pointing out that the sidewalk is for walking and not biking.

But they fail to realize that surburban America provides vast stretches of sidewalk that aren’t used for pedestrian commuting - and therefore suffer no real detriment from bikes. They are essentially pathways for leisure that get relatively little use and are perfect for kids/adults out for nice little ride.

Cyclists are a different story. They’re out there trying to be the best at excercising and all bets are off.

* Its been a good 2 years since I slapped the Paddock around on why bikes are on the road vs. sidewalks. There are plenty of well done studies on why it is and some of you are actually intelligent enough to read so go ahead and jump on that. But yes, it is safer for adults to have bikes on roads with the flow of traffic.

I'm sure Rob will drag his knuckles through here to talk about how tough it is in Prospect to deal with cyclists, Doc will make a horrible Porsche reference (appears it took 5 minutes) and UKO will link something from InfoWars pertaining to the matter. Solid company.

* Fatherhood is awesome.

* My old man is the most negative person that I know but is annually convinced that the Reds are just a piece or two away. This year it is that they don't need to trade Harvey and need to build the rotation around him. Also, Scooter is on all the HGH.

* Old people... the mid-30s is where one officially gives up on any remaining UK football optimism, correct?

* "Your wife sucks Nig**r di**!" Haynes shouts in the video while taunting party-goers to cross his property line.

Kavanaugh was the most moderate person that could have been chosen...and probably the only one on Trump's list that would have been confirmed at this time.

Republicans and Democrats should both be content.

Took an ebike tour of Paris last week. Enjoyable ride, and I can see why they’re popular, but I turned mine off pretty quickly as I wanted to get some exercise. They make hills a damn breeze.

Oh, well aware of the lack of thought considering the regular comments from drivers calling me Lance, telling me to get on the sidewalk and the occasional coke can or spare change.

A bike moving faster than around 10mph doesn't have the ability to react to pedestrians on a sidewalk and drivers don't have the ability to react to cyclists crossing an intersection from a sidewalk following pedestrian guidance. Much safer for a car to go around a slow moving cyclist riding to the right of the lane despite the nuisance. Of course there are ******** like the coont that would plow mid-lane through Nicholasville Rd at rush hour and unfortunately, she never got mowed down.

My bike riding caliber is unreal. I can really pedal a bike. It’s dangerous for a biker of my caliber to be on the road or the sidewalk. :joy: I stg, man. My pedal pedigree is off the chain. Had to get a battery operated bike just to keep up with my pedal power.

I'm old as dirt, and, as far back as I can remember, bicycles are illegal (technically), on sidewalks.

Did our Moms tell us to stay out of the the street? For sure. And we did, for the most part, ride on the sidewalk. But, it IS breaking the law.
