The restaurant scene in in Manhattan is atrocious unless you stick with Times Square.

Try the potato skins at Hard Rock. To DIE for.

(Don't send Casey anywhere south of the Village, it's his first time there and we don't want him getting lost)

J Bruce Miller doggy. Just fired off about 15 straight tweets with personal shots at Steier, had a feeling it would get ugly.

Need a @UKRob 73 breakdown.

Randos:

My club sniped the Asst Pro from Hunting Creek (D. Huffman), where the Am is currently being played. Dude is a stud from all accounts, and the membership out there is pissed about losing him - was in line for the head gig, and soon. .

I'll let our Board know that the pro we did a Nation wide search on 14 months ago was getting ready to be replaced by one of his assistants.

Don't Know much, and think Bruce is overreacting. Bruce says we won't get an NBA team because Steier, his partner, settled with the US government for $30 mill for Medicaid fraud. The guy is the CEO of a health providing company, I thought they all settled for Medicaid fraud from time to time.
Don't think the nba would care if he hadn't brought it to light. But I'm just guessing

As great as a player MJ was he has been just as bad as owner/gm/whatever he is in Charlotte. Completely awful draft picks. From Kwame to Hamidou, MKG thrown in too

- Generally believe Tony375 is accurate on this, but Gabriel was a perfect candidate to return to school, polish up his skills and be a featured guy on a title contender. His strengths- shooting, length, effort- make him a solid potential NBA 3&D guy...but he’s not there yet. Big mistake.

- I dislike Coors and Coors Light. Just have never had a taste for it. My domesto power rankings:

1. Hudy Delight
2. Miller Lite
3. High Life

- Chillin tonight. Knotty Pine on the Bayou tomorrow night.

- Cruise into the last year of my 30s next week. :flushed: ABH told me 10 years ago that your 30s were every bit as good if not better than your 20s, and I’ll be damned if he wasn’t right.

- Give Cal credit- dude makes UK basketball more fun in late Spring/Summer.

- Yeah I’m pumped we’re a legit contender next year but I’m most excited that we’re going to be good from the get-go. We’ be eating cake from November on this year.

Turn 39 in November. Being married to a project manager can be annoying.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO FOR YOUR 40TH?!

Damn woman, I just want to enjoy this decade a little more before imagining myself as a GD 40 year old or where I'll want to be which will end up with me wanting to go to bed at 10 pm.

20's - You won't look better. Chasing women. Drinking/drugging with little to no regard. Figure out where life is taking you. If you're smart, avoid major life decisions besides buying a home.

30's - You have money. Looks still there but fading. You have a house, a car, probably a wife and kids and responsibility. The times you do get out to part become more sacred because they're fewer and farther between. You take up golf, watching golf and mocking people in their 20's for being stupid faces. Near the late 30's it starts to click, **** hurts more but you still have some time to make one last push before you're affectionately known as an old f'ing man.

-Do you really think Wenyen would be "featured" next year? At best he's a 4th option. He's 21 years old. His decision was as easy as anyone. Once Cal got Montgomery and Travis -> #strokinwave

-Same for Vando. 41st. Most likely the smart call to just go and get drafted. Roll the dice.

-If there's a case against the theory is Mikal Bridges and Ragu.

-Robert Williams is the real issue and I guess you could refine the theory to point towards highly athletic raw talent. Talking that kind, a top 10 pick last season, into coming back is almost criminal. 9th Pick = 19 million, 27th 9 millon. Ouch, and he lost a year of his career.

-What did Grayson gain? Could've been drafted 21st 2 years ago and heading into a contract season.

-Love Bamba. Even more pissed he didn't come to UK.

- Tell the wife the same thing every year for my birthday- “I just want you to take me out and get me drunk.”

- Yes, I think Gabriel would have gotten a lot of shine from scouts this year. As I f’ing mentioned, Tony- I don’t think coming back is usually in a kid’s best interest, you stubborn prick. Vanderbilt and Diallo made smart decisions.

Time to talk about things I know:

*waves*

- Our trash runs on Monday (like a good neighborhood ought), and my wife always empties the refrigerator of leftovers on Tuesdays. Never fails.

- My wife also has a habit of buying things at the grocery she thinks we need, but we actually have a stockpile of. Mozzarella cheese, tortilla chips, and lasagna noodles are in bulk at Strokin Manor.

- Quirky wife habits are what marriage is all about. It’s past the point of irritation and has enterered “cute”, bordering on “adorable.”

*waves*

But seriously. That draft sucked and y’all know it.
