There is no advantage to 95 & humid in June. The alternative isn’t 40 & rain, bc it’s JUNE.

The extra time is supposed to make up for time spent on handling injuries and other delays, but in reality it is completely based on the referee's whims.
The average high temp this month is 86. The hottest it's been is 93.

The only thing you do outside is ride a bicycle. The rest of us who work outside, golf, tend to our own yards, etc. Skipping right over Patio weather is wack. August weather isn’t preferable in June, period.

Some big time college refs would have gone to high school with my dad. They can't keep up with the action anymore. I know they have to pass fitness tests and what not but how many times do we see a play under the basket where the guy under the basket gets his call overridden by the tenured referee 30 feet away from it?
And by and large guys don't get held accountable unless it's something egregious like Ted Valentine - old, btw - blowing a call on Joel Berry and then doubling down and throwing a tantrum like a 3rd grader. John Higgins should have been suspended for baiting Shaka Smart into a technical foul this season. Nothing happened to him.

It was really really hot yesterday, reached 93, so me and my wife layed out in the backyard yesterday and periodically sprayed ourselves off with the mist setting on our hose while I drank a Pacifico. Was truly torturous wish it was -2 and we all had the flu instead.
Soccer is awful, made it through 5 minutes before losing interest and watching the US Open which actually seemed fast paced and dramatic in comparison. And I don't even play golf. The no time stoppage is great though, the 4 hour football games with 25 reviews has become completely ridiculous.
Did overnight oats last year with my wife when she was on her TIU kick. Not really sure they are that healthy, it's a giant jar of oatmeal and milk and fruit and **** - might as well eat a bowl of cereal. Did make me full for like 5 hours though.

- Coming back from an earlier than usual Florida vacation really helped adjust to this weather.
Really miss all the day drinking then catching a nap with the kiddo, and waking up mid day to more drinking and pool time though.

Yesterday I mowed, swim, stuck tomato plants, watered pot plants, and mashed softball but I sure do miss shoveling snow, cleaning salt off my vehicle, and watching nick Richards fumble the rebound out of bounds

Played a tourney on Saturday shotgun start at 1 pm. It was Africa hot, then rained for a minute and turned out semi-pleasant. Oh, except for the course doubling us up on every tee instead of spreading it was only a short 6 hour round.
Still get a lot of "it's hot and humid in FL. I'd never liver there." Well, if you hate cold and consider 50 your limit, it's paradise. Oh and getting to remind people that it's 80 when they still have chances of snow.

I knocked out another 8 miles in the heat yesterday, also added weights to my routine. Down 20 lbs since Memorial Day, still fat though.
