If you have UL as an unwinnable game this year, you aren't paying attention. They lost their complete defense, half went pro. And the loss of Lamar is a big deal. They won't win more than 7 games.

Could have just ignored the question like everyone else but he had to make sure she knew that HE was protecting her.

I get wanting to be in the Mile High Club and all that but the mess that would create doing it in the seat might just not be worth it. Head to the bathroom at least.

Also, a gal willing to ride you in the back of an economy seat flight is not the type of gal you take on vacation. She’d be willing to bang you anywhere pal.

Shorts:

- He doesn’t fit millennial basketball but my gawd what a pick up Travis would be- intelligent 5th year senior who can score as well as anyone in the country down low.

- This ‘19 class is looking ridiculous already- Maxey is a stud, Jeffries is a solid combo forward then we lead for Wiseman (7’6” wingspan), could lead for Jaden McDaniels who is skyrocketing and we may be right there for Cole Anthony.

- Am I the only one curious about the lack of hype for Marvin Bagley? I guess he could just be Beasley but the guy is a stud.

- Hate to give GYERO credit but damn - sunmer loafs are a must. Got some Cole Haans which are probably sub-GYERO but they’re perfect sockless alternatives for when you have to rock some pants in the summer.

- My Anker bluetooth speaker is great as a portable option but what’s a good larger bluetooth speaker for the living room?

- Finding out the downside of old houses this summer- upstairs just doesn’t cool very well.

- World Cup is awesome- don’t know how a sports fan can’t at least enjoy it as a background sport for a few weeks.

- Already longing for fall.

- My bourbon lineup is pretty solid right now:

Rip Ban Winkle 10-Year
Colonel Taylor Single Barrel
Baker 7-Year
Old Charter 8-Year
Henry McKenna 10-Year
Buffalo Trace store pick (unbelievable for $25)
Jefferson Reserve

- Lass’s late summer/fall wedding schedule:

August:
Lake Tahoe
Newport, RI

September:
Denver

October:
West Palm Beach

I’ll be hitting Rhode Island and West Palm Beach.

Tahoe and Denver are better options than West Palm, IMO but the weather in October should be nice.

Overnight Oats were good. I like that idea.

Not choosing for the locations- those are where her best friends of the bunch are getting married and I’m not hitting all four.

-Keion Brooks as well. Really want Anthony though. Brooks, Wiseman, Anthony, Maxey, Jefferies would be :scream: Being selfish but lets break Duke's heart with Carey.

-For everyday loafs Haans are fine as long as they don't have that stupid Nike bubble **** on them. I'm on boat shoes mostly these days. AE.

-IMO, get an Alexa/Google Home, Apple's version if you're looking for a one room perm solution.

-Have your BiL install a mini split up there. Those things are f*cking badass.

-Yup. running constant on my screen and sprinkle in a little gambol.

* Agree with Chad RE: Marvin Bagley. I think he's the best player in the draft. He just moves differently than the other 9 guys on the floor. Only hangup seems to be that he might be 6'8 and not 6'11. I can overlook that.

* Sexton is the best guard in the field. Not Trae Young. By the end of Oklahoma's season you could tell by the body language that Young's teammates didn't enjoy playing with him. ESPN having a Trae Young tracker during Oklahoma games probably didn't help. Not sure anybody asked for that.

* I also don't like Ayton and can't put my finger on why. Purely intangible though. That and the fact that he's 7'1 and not much of a rim protector. I like all of the top tier big men in this draft better than him.

* Kevin Knox is shooting up the boards. I know New York loves him and would take him at #9 and I would be ecstatic for this, but now I'm starting to worry that he'll be off the board by then.

* What do you basketballs out there make of Michael Porter Jr.? Most mysterious non-European lotto guy in a long time.

One option is to get a decent soundbar/subwoofer for your TV. Upgrade your movie/CAYTS watching experience and most of the new ones are Bluetooth compatible.

Yeah but can you install all that **** inside your walls?

No thanks, grantbob.

- Sexton is a nice player but if he's the best guard in the field than the field pretty much sucks, IMO.

- Knox is Rudy Gay, man. He's a perfect NBA 3. Just work on that ball-handling in the open floor, cowboy.

- It's been said too many times but moving (packing/unpacking) especially during a home reno sucks. Light at the end of the tunnel, howeva. Got a nice thing going on in the "Big V". #wofoco

-Anth, got something special for you - DM me for your prize!!

- I am predisposed to hate Bagley because he is one of those guys who would rather dribble straight out of bounds than use his weak hand. Very Julius Randle-esque in that regard.

- Ayton is dope, but needs someone to teach him court awareness and defensive assignments. Or maybe he knows and is just lazy. But even 80% of his potential + Booker is a nice little combo

- I wouldn't touch Porter Jr with a James Dolan sized pole tbh.

- Knox to NY (THE NEW YORK KNOX, make the shirt Lorenzen) and Alexander to Charlotte would be a nice little UK draft. Hami to Brooklyn would be a good way for him to go home and also play for an organization that will allow him to indulge all of his worst tendencies; which seems to be what he wants most.

- HOT TAKE is Mikal Bridges ends up being the most successful player from this draft

-Geese now lives approximately 1/2 mile from me, per Booker.

-Porter's a princess. That's the issue. Skilled as all-get-out, but apparently never connected with Mizzou teammates, didn't spend much time around them, or on the bench, etc. Gottlieb(yeah, I know....Gottlieb, but still) all but said the kid has been sheltered and entitled his whole life. Can't see how that attitude's gonna translate to an 82-game season with a bunch of thirty-somethings and a coach who isn't gonna coddle him just to keep his dad happy. Proceed with caution.

-Today's ESPN mock marks the first time I've seen SGA going ahead of Sexton. That, plus Knox rising=Cal doing his thing.

-"Ashton Hagans" sounds more like a Bama QB than a Kentucky PG but man, that kid is an alpha dog.

-Being part of a surprise party sure beats throwing a surprise party. Forty people coming in to surprise my folks for their 50th this weekend. Been walking on eggshells(THOSE POOR EGGSHELLS LOLZ) for six months trying to pull this thing off. They've had a rough go of it for a while now, so I really want this to go perfectly. It won't, but I hope it's close.

If there is one thing certain in every draft, there will be busy. I'm going with Jaren Jackson. I like him. I think he has potential, but those guys usually end up falling well short of expectation. I instantly think of a couple of LSU Tigers, Stromile Swift and Tyrus Thomas.

Two rappers got killed last night.

Minutes after XXX got shot, there were videos/snaps all over Twitter of him just slumped over the wheel of his Lambo, very creepy.

His last social media post was about staying positive and helping the kids. By making violent rap songs and getting shot to death in an armed robbery, presumably.
