You can clearly tell Carter was not happy at all with the zone based on his words.

As a fan we definitely just want our teams to win............ but as a fan of UK I like watched a rival get blasted by its own former players for playing zone because it can help UK on the recruiting trail....... Its what you call trouble in paradise

I guess you can use the quote to fit whatever narrative you want. To me, this is nothing more than a player saying that he had to subjugate his game for the better of the team. Certainly nowhere near “blasting” his Duke experience.

Duvall went from #1 PG in high school and lottery pick to potentially being picked in the 2nd round after a season at Duke. Coach Cal and the coaching staff developed a underrated 4 star recruit SGA into a lottery pick in one year.
Yea What he said !!

They might have already killed their 2019 and 2020 recruiting.

I do need to see this to believe it. Duke has been putting top 2 recruiting classes for five years straight.

Fantastic

Carter wanted UK and Cal didn't return his call hahaha

Ouch lol. He's a good player, but I don't think I'd have wanted his outspoken mom around the Kentucky program.

Kind of funny that he had a jab in there about the zone which is one thing scouts have talked about hampering the duke guys
