- First visit to O' Dome was meh. For a newly renovated arena, it's very unimpressive. Surprised UF isn't in the SEC West. But, being just over 10k in seating, you do see everything well from the upper level so that was nice.

- Had a nice tail wind on a drive-able par 4 Sunday. Smoked a 3 wood fade over the tree and turned back to get in the cart. 4 feet and went right past the cup. Feel that a H-I-O will never happen. Old bag of *** hit one 2 weeks ago and won our running pot which was about $700.

- Looks like I'm making another career move. Work from home, travel to job sites to manage and will make more than what I do now. Absolutely dreading letting the boss know. He's had a horrible run of things as of late but if we're not growing and everyone else is growing, sorry bub, me first then you.

- Leaving for dinner on Saturday night and a girl riding her bike in the opposite lane but headed in the same direction literally turned right in front of me. My first instinct was to ask her to take me to her folks house so I could punch her stupid f'ing loser dad in his dick for letting a f'ing 8 year old ride her bike without supervision on a road where soccer moms are driving 10 over and updating their Facebook accounts.

- Tip a flat 20% for any sit down or delivery.

Is Melting Pot considered pure sit down though?

I mean you do essentially cook your own food. In some ways the server does even less than a takeout order.

I think we are well past the point of people giving a f*** about that kind of thing. Not sure if the journos have figured this out yet.
Actually I think they have. The sentiment in that piece essentially says this type of thing can't be stopped. Pretty fair piece given it was a UK player and Thamel/Forde.

Been getting regular updates on Tandy this year from my granddad, who goes to most of his games. He had 33 last night in the big win, hopefully he can put on a show in Lexington.

Side note: De'torrion Ware (6'4 wing, Christian Co) put up 40, kid is pretty nasty himself.

Every championship (and most Final 4) team we've had around here have had contributions from a KY boy, just sayin

^Not sure if you know this, but that loss to Wofford never happened. I believe it's written into the NCAA tournament selection committee bylaws that both North Carolina and Duke get 2 completely penalty-free losses per year.

“I remember calling my dad when I was a freshman. He said, ‘Son, somebody do something to you?’ No,” Smith recalled. “‘You still getting your scholarship, aren’t you? They’re still feeding you? They still housing you? You still getting an education?’ “I said, ‘Yes sir.’ He said, ‘Well, you can’t come home. Your bed’s been taken. This is 1968, 1969. But you can join the Army.’ Best thing he ever said to me.”

* Who gives a touch about the Balls, Goodman, or that entire fake *** **** going down in Lithusucka? They deserve zero touches given.

* UNC being seeded that well is a touching joke.

* So the dude that they arrested across the hall also had an AR-15 at his house. He sent a 175 pg letter to the FBI and actually called them twice the day he got arrested.

Might have narrowly avoided a mass shooting with that loon.

* Bearcat Fan has been lying dormant for years. Suddenly they are beginning to awaken and talk **** on social media. They are like touching cicadas. Show up every 17 years, make a lot of noise and disappear with a quickness.

* Touch Mick Cronin.

* Homeland finally had a decent episode.

* Llama, Im still waiting for that email.

* I'd rather be an 8 or 9 with Xavier or Kansas than a 4 with Virginia or Villanova. Don't @ me. I just don't like that match up at all.

Meh. I'm pretty sure I know what the reaction would have been if I made an analogy of my life as a young man to my Dad's responsibilities as a husband/father.

I agree with Tubby (to a certain extent).

HEY DAD YOU GOT TO SWITCH JOBS HOW COME I CANT BOUNCE AROUND SCHOOLS

Xactly. What happens in Lithuania should stay in Lithuania. It's halfway around the world for a reason.

Hoped we'd heard the last of Lavar for a while. Attention is like oxygen to him, he thrives on it. Starve him out.

To a certain extent, I have to agree with Jones and 73 about the whole Tubby quote...but more on a general level. I hate those FB rants by coaches or whomever that go viral beating up on entire generations, usually for something like not being accountable, all the while deflecting accountability and responsibility from themselves.

go get em coach!
so true, kids these days!
participation trophies!!!!!!

Wonder how many likes or comments on Jeff Waltz's self-righteous rant last year quit their HS team because of sports "politics"?

There isn't a person under the age of 50 that didn't get a participation trophy or medal while playing sports - TS.
Now when it comes to not keeping score, that's a cause I can get behind (or be critical of, whatever). In my aforementioned soccer league coaching days they didn't "officially" keep score. But the kids knew, they wanted to know, and I let them know...that we, in fact, were terrible from coach to players. Except for mini-manbun, that kid could ball, I would like to think that season taught him how to deal with adversity.

Herm Edwards. I work with people who LOVE Herm Edwards hating on the kids.

Coaches are going to be emotionally invested in Arizona State football because of how much they want Herm Edwards to succeed after he basically made a career out of being this exact character you just described on TV.

Agreed and all these people are winning the competition of who can be the worst person, so congrats to them I guess. I’ve never been a fan of making fun of someone for being ugly because they can’t help that, but making fun of fat people, for the most part, is alright because 96% of the time have chosen not to change that.*

*that being said I don’t make fun of people for fatness(to their face) unless I’m good friends with them or they’ve chosen to be a public figure.
