UofL hire that would produce the most hate:

1. Mick Cronin
2. Gregg Marshall
3. Chris Mack

Mack pulled up next to me at Dunkin Donuts this morning- another proud Northern Kentuckian.

Louisville can have Cronin. Marshall and Mack would be great hires and they’re not getting either one.

Arizona is about to be up, although I wonder if they'd avoid Mack b/c of the Xavier connection (although that would be stupid, imo)

I don't think they have any chance at Marshall. Why would he sign up for that dumpster fire when he's making power conference money at Witchita State? Not to mention he and his family seem to love it there.

* I like Chris Mack, Marshall can go get pumped and I'm afraid he would do good things at UL, Cronin is a piece of **** and I think is extremely overrated. I hate him. Perfect for the UL job, IMO.

* Pretty crazy sitch here at work last week.

Last Friday as my boss and I were driving up to Detroit, I got a call from our office manager. The office was locked down and there were armed police charging down the hall.

There is a small financial company right across the hall from us. One of their employees, a 30-35ish lawyer who I saw every day, snapped and demanded $250k or else he was going to release damaging emails to their clients. He had a loaded handgun.

The lady he was threatening managed to bolt to our office when he was distracted. She called 911.

The police evacuated the lower floors and told my coworkers to stay inside and not let anyone in or out. (Our office is locked and you have to have an electronic card to get in/out.)

They arrested the dude before he was able to leave with a bunch of files. He had already taken his loaded handgun off and put it on a table when he saw them coming, but they slammed him around anyway, just for fun. When they searched his car they found a loaded shotgun, a machete and a lot of extra ammo.

I happened to walk past him that morning when I got to work and had a brief convo with him. It was weird that he parked in the visitor parking and even weirder that he actually made smalltalk with me. He never talked, even when I said hello in the hallway, it was always 1-word answers. That morning he said hello, talked about all the rain and told me to have a nice day, yada yada yada. Instead of going up the elevator with me, he plopped down on a couch in the lobby of our building. Again... unusual.

Ironically enough, I had nicknamed him "Lee Harvey" about 8 years ago because of the way he marched up and down the hallway staring straight ahead. He just had that look, like was "off" somehow. He seemed like the type who could go on a shooting spree.

Thank God it didn't get that far.

-Today marks the beginning of my 10th year here at work. Damn, that's hard to believe.

-Vanderbilt seemed off last night, and still grabs 11 boards, lol. Loved that quick finish he had off the Gabriel feed

-PJ's best move is when he hard lines to the block from the left elbow, but then jumps in the air to the right floating around the defender...he converts that at about 90%. Otherwise, worship him roaming that baseline, such a quick leaper - he dunks them before the defender even has a chance to do anything.

Very quiet 17/10/7 for SGA? o_O

-I thought Hami played well, even in the 1H. His shots weren't falling, but I liked what he was trying to do out there. The 3s are just an added bonus...I get really happy for that kid anytime he makes a shot, as he's really handled this year's struggles about as well as anyone in his position could.

-Nice lil raft

Ok Willy. At some point you have to ask yourself what is it that YOU are doing that you find yourself in these situations.

I'm sure Matt has done his research and isn't doing it on a whim but can the KSR brand really support a bar and grill in Lexington when they're closing left and right?

How many times had you taken his parking spot?

We usually park in different lots, altogether. His **** was planned out. That's why he parked in the visitor's parking right by the entrance. He was ready for a quick getaway or ready to grab that machete and start hacking bitches.

Definitely preplanned. Not well, but preplanned.

Villa Hills... smh. Redass was probably involved somehow.

I’m starting to envision what Alexander & Green would look like together as sophomores and man, that would be fun. Then again Alexander is projected to go in the late teens. I don’t know if he will ever be lottery so I suppose he goes.

-Quickly should fill SGA's role nicely. If SGA stays lotto he needs to go. I could see him get picked apart next year by scouts. Plus Hami should be back.

-Vando/Washington back would be unreal. I give it a 50% chance of happening but damn, I can dream.

-I agree with Hami's game last night. That's all we need right now. He was playing aggressive d, not hurting us, not pressing. Just don't turn the ball over and D UP.

-Knox has a very underrated nasty competitive streak. He may talk more **** than any other player.

-Gabriel's T was not timed well but I actually liked it after the initial "WTF ARE YOU DOING GD IT." Hell of a game from Wenyen.

-Rupp Arena soft serve is awful. It's not even overrated, it's just bad. No flavor.

-Seems to me NYC would be a decent adjacent conference tourney spot, not for the SEC, but I'm sure they all have tons of alumni there, easy to get to, plenty of rooms, plenty to do. Indy/Nash every single year sucks. At least with Nashville it's more expensive than NYC. Wish we would get back to the ATL/Nash/NOLA rotation.

-Could be it's March, could be Cal, could be we're playing well, but I'm not scared of anyone right now. LEGGO. Got a few teams we owe a nice little smack.

-If I'm a UL fan you really want a Pitino disciple? I know I wouldn't. IMO, they need to bite the bullet and keep Padgett one more year then make the hire once the FBI stuff has a chance to settle. They're going to be terrible anyway and they're not even recruiting right now.

Didn't see anything extra special about the Harden move other than waiting for the guy he pushed down to get up before hitting the 3. Think he was waiting for an offensive foul to be called honestly.

Massive and stupid overreaction IMO.

Wouldn’t mind a KSR/KrazyKats Junt-Venture to get some Cajun vittles up in that piece, TBH. It also would print money as a Facebook Reality Show. I’m just an ideas guy, I guess.

Louisville is actually a better job since their penance has been passed.

Now that it seems all big name colleges are involved in paying players, they can recruit a replacement freely because....errrbody is doing it.

Ummm... they're still the only team that was on probation and caught directly paying a player. Miller and Zona may join the party but they're not close to passed.
