People can say what they want about us and that we don't deserve a good seed, but the quad shows different. This is one of the main things the NCAA is supposed to look at this year. So let's see how we currently stand along with a few others. There are only 6 teams in the country with more quad 1-2 wins than Ky. Not bad, right? Also look at the others below, some that are seeded higher than us right now. As you know we have a great RPI and SOS already. If this is as important as they have made it out to be I believe we are a 3-4 seed. Oh yeah, that terrible loss people bring up @SC was a quad 1 loss.
Quad 1-2 wins:
Ky: 12
Virginia: 12
Dook: 11
UNC: 13*
TENN: 11
KU: 19*
Nova: 14*
Loserville: 5 LOL
OK: 9
Xavier: 13*
Purdue: 10
Zags: 6
Ohio ST: 9
Witch ST: 13*
Mich ST: 8-YES 8! (#2 team in the country with lots of #1 votes)
WV: 13*
Also if we beat FL it will give us 13 and the SEC since a neutral court we can add 2-3 more. So if we win it all (SEC and beat FL we will end up with 15-16 Quad 1-2 wins which should pass some teams that play in weaker conferences or could lose. We could end up 2-3rd if all goes well. We could be at 13 after FL and end at 16 after SEC Tourney which would mean only 2 teams would be higher.
