Yeah, enjoy your weak *** “we had a good year banner”. All 50 of your solid fans will enjoy it for years to come.
Ah yes, the glorious melt continues. I can tell it's going to be a Super Sunday.
Enjoy trying to achieve the highest possible goal that UK football could ever achieve again next season: win 6 games so that you can play in Nashville or Shreveport.
Auburn CAN win championships even in sports that (according to you) we don't take seriously. It must suck to know that UK is not able to do the same (unless you want to call winning the Independence Bowl championship a real championship...which you probably do).
Saw a cool stat yesterday. Twelve of the fourteen schools in the SEC have had at least ONE football season where their team won AT LEAST nine (not ten or more....but just nine) games in the regular season since the SEC expanded in 1992. The twelve includes all four expansion schools. The only two schools that haven't won more than eight games in the regular season are Vandy and you know who.
In THE sport that most Americans truly consider to be America's past time, UK just flat out refuses to compete for championships. A lot of disappointed people file out of Commonwealth Stadium for 7-8 Saturdays a year. That must be really depressing. Our basketball arena gets national praise about what a great home environment it is (and we don't even care about basketball according to you). I have NEVER heard anyone ever say anything remotely close to that about Commonwealth Stadium. And I don't expect i ever will.
