No, that’s all factual, well except the blue blood. Auburn has struggled to attain mid major status for many many years.
So young. Dude, you had to hang curtains to hide the empty seats in the old arena. I’ve seen them. It’s was comical and frankly a little pathetic. Finally they scraped up enough money to build a smaller gym. Know your history, there’s not much to learn.

What's even sadder is Kentucky fans aren't aware they even have a football or baseball team. Neither has ever competed for ANY kind of championship in over 40 years and that was only at the conference level.
While Auburn has a pretty poor basketball history, we have at least competed at the highest levels in basketball (SEC Champ and #1 seed in 1999 for example) sporadically.
Kentucky football and baseball just plain outright suck because they NEVER compete for anything meaningful.
Auburn CAN and HAS in the past 40 years won an SEC Championship in basketball and will probably do it again this year.
Kentucky CANNOT and HAS NOT in the past 40 years won an SEC Championship in football and no one with a brain can see them doing it in the next 40 years.

It’s always funny when people pick arbitrary time frames. KY lays claim to a national football championship in 1950 and was quite highly ranked a number of years in that time frame.
Now I’m sure you can enlighten us about Auburn’s final fours, national championships in basketball.

Nobody said Cal was handing out hundred dollar bills at practice, but we all know all teams do what has to be done to win- even crappy teams pay players, or help them qualify when they can't do it by themselves (wink, wink Eric Bledsoe). I am quite familiar with the Bledsoe situation. There were no findings there. Unlike the situation with Cam Newton where daddy was secretly on the take and the NCAA gave poor Auburn a pass because any penalty would have required the death penalty due to recent priors.

When he coached UT, I was in lexington and sat 4 rows behind their bench, happened to be sitting by Chris Loftons kin and Bruce came up before game and was shaking hands with all the Vols fans there, although my wife and I were in Blue head to toe he shook our hands and was very friendly, wish you well.
