I see Baker as the starting SG next year. Better on D-fence.
You're joking right?

Better on defense based on what exactly? Your none existent basketball knowledge? When have you observed Baker playing defense? Who knows if he will be on the team next year.

If not Baker, then Quickley will be the shooting guard and Green at point. D-fence is everything to Coach Cal.

Herro will start his sophomore year.

Don’t know or care who will start, but Herro will play as a Freshman.

Yet every game Knox, Washington and Diallo and Green get blowed by like the point of the game is to get blown by.

Herro can score better than all of them outside of Knox. So Herro better play or Cal is a huge hipocrite.

Too pale for some on here.
Yep. Some people assume every white kid is slow, unathletic, shooter and that every black kid is a freak athlete. You can take a Julian Edelman type and a Boom Williams if they both ran 4.4 forties, and one would be a great athlete and fast while the other would "have sneaky athleticism and fast for a white kid".

It's not even a racist thing for most as much as it's just perception. But Herro is every by the athlete that Dev Booker was here and a better athlete than Lamb. He isn't josh carrier or KWilt.

People aren't expecting this kid to be a starter at UK right? I just don't see him playing much.
Really. No need for him to come here if you don't see him playing. Hope Cal doesn't read this. Maybe you should let Herro know so he doesn't waste his time here.

Isn't it usually a good idea to wait until the player gets here and see him play in person before making decisions about whether he will start, etc.?

One thing I'm sure of is Herro will play if he's good enough, and he won't if he's not.

I’m tempering my expectations for him as a freshman but I’m really glad we’ve got this kid coming in. He’s going to be a really important player as a sophomore/junior. I hope we get a Herro-like player in every class.
LOL he will be leading scorer or at worst top 3. He is most skilled scorer Cal has ever recruited and is IMO one of the top 8-10 players in this class.
