I believe in the old saying "what goes around comes around ". There is no doubt in my mind that Duke is dirty. I hope it comes to light soon. I know that are protected by the NCAA & ESPN but you don't cheat and get by with it for long. Duval & Bagley had a lot of red flags around them.

That saying doesn't apply to UNC and Duke,we don't have to look too far to know that is the case,wish it were different but it is not.

That can't be true. Louisville brought in more money than any other team in the country. Don't believe me? Just ask em.

But just Jurich, Pitino and Ramsey cashed in on that, the NCAA didn't get their cut.

We don't need threat reduction from our SEC brethren. Instead, we need more legit conference competition.

The SEC season was a lot more fun back when there was another powerhouse program (like Arkansas in 1990s and Billy Donovan's UF teams) to measure ourselves against. It's been a more boring (and sometimes downright drudgery-like) thing to follow in recent years without that.

I mostly agree. The tests are good for the team and good for the league.

Then the other side of me, the side that knows Alabama is one of those teams that will play like NBA all-stars against us, and then lose to Marist the next day, thinks it could help us. One less SEC team doing it's best to hand us a "bad" or "mediocre" loss.

If you lose a few enough games, the league has to give you a #1 or a #2 seed. The problem there is that we may not be tested that well.. but if we're a #1 seed, with a better path to the Final 4.. would be beneficial.

I agree, but like LineSki said: other teams need to hold up their end. It's old seeing these SEC teams continually losing to low tier teams, only hurting the conference at tournament Time

Obviously Kansas wasn't offering money hence the commitment to Alabama.

I tend to think that KU was outbid by Bama.

Cal knows he was already in unfortunate situations there won't be a third. If he found out an assistant were to do this he would fire them

I don't think Alabama is a make or break, obviously. I do think them losing players helps Kentucky's chances to avoid a loss. By how much? I don't know, probably not a lot.

My goal is for Kentucky to have no more than 5 losses. That gets us a #1 seed, and when you're a #1 seed the selection committee can't screw us TOO bad. We might not be tested as much in this scenario.. but I'll take the #1 seed over the #4 seed..

and multiple teams do it every damn year just like clockwork(Alabama has been one of the worst about this over the years)

Some recruitments we looked on and wondered why Cal didn't get involved? Here is another example of Cal knowing who to stay away from.

That's probably not the case. The kid chose bama over UK for a reason$$$.

I don't really know, but from hearing what other Bama people have said, it seems his father had to pay back an $80 meal with an agent. Supposedly Sexton wasn't implicated in anything himself but his father's actions affected his eligibility. Who knows. I'm glad he will be back, though. He's a big part of this year for us.

Im glad he's gonna be playing. He shouldn't pay the price for greedy adults mistakes.
