I am normally don't like when players tweet their unhappiness but this was interesting considering the coach was fired so early in the season, why start with him...

Earl Watson reportedly stormed into the locker room looking to fight Bledsoe for getting him fired. Says alot about Watson as a person and shows that his firing wasnt just about a single tweet. Says alot about Bledsoe that an organization would act that quickly in an effort to keep him

Who says he doesn’t realize how lucky and blessed he is. Losing gets old no matter why you play.

Bledsoe has been in the league, he's 28 and the best team he was on was the clippers. He's ready to win. Cant blame him especially when the sun's are tanking.

Bledsoe is in his prime.

The team is in tank mode. Obviously don't give a **** about Briscoe...and somehow this is bad look for Briscoe?

They need to put more effort to put a winning team instead of letting the young players mature. Its a different discussion if Bledsoe was around 24-25.
Wait, what???

Problem is most teams that are good have a good point guard. Im sure he wants to be sent to a team thats at least competitive or in position to make a PO run. Having said that i think he could be a good fit back in LA with the Clippers. Not exactly a great team but him, Griffin and Jordan would be a solid, fun 3 guys. Dunno what their cap situation is tho.
So, you’re saying they are mushrooms.

Bledsoe has been nothing but a "team player" for the Suns. Ownership always praised his work ethic. He was/is great in community... AND all the while his name has been involved in at least 6-8 trade rumors. He never complained once.
He has always taken the high road. And fans have really appreciated him for that and his play.

Something happened. Or something did not happen that he was expecting.
Can't blame him for basically saying "enough is enough"
I love Briscoe. He’s been a consumate player, teammate, and person as long as he’s been on my radar. Lived in a car with his mother: what a determined young man(earned, not given, a smallish body to play in the NBA). Go Eric Jamal Briscoe(to the bathroom if you need to; holding it can be unhealthy and painful).

Well, I meant Christmas or Halloween, whichever is first.[/QUO
It saddens me to see most of the UK players on teams that can't compete. I wish Phoenix and Sacramento would stop drafting our players.
maybe the new draft deal will change things(but, our players are good;those teams are bad). I don’t think things will change. Although, maybe crap teams could draft dukies or suck, I mean draft, Balls.

Dude doesn't know how lucky he is. He's making millions playing a game and he complains. Wah
Give me a break. This guy was born to play basketball and he has a limited window in which he can do it. He’s had multiple years of his career wasted in Phoenix that he will never get back. Maybe for these guys it’s about leaving a mark on the sport they love and not money. It’s like athletes can’t be unhappy without being ungrateful

I didn’t really understand the Rondo move and sliding Jrue over to the 2. Seems to me they just made a signing to say they did and he’s still somewhat of a name.

Actually I loved what I saw from them playing the warriors...allowing Davis and even Cousins to push the ball up the floor.
There have been several baffling moves by the pelicans over the last couple years. trading Noel, re-signing Holiday for that money (PG who makes no one better), trading for Asik and paying him that salary. Lost way too many first round picks due to stupid moves.

They went all in on Holiday, Evans and Gordon as their core perimeter players. None of them have lived up to the players they were before New Orleans landed them.

Player signs a huge contract. Fan: "all they care about is money, I miss when players actually cared about winning

Player wants to play for a winning team. Fan: "they should be grateful for all that money and shut up! Who cares if you win?"

weak take...and you know why (and it has to do with the current fad of going to a "super team")

Bledsoe was still pissed about being forced to sit out the last 30 or so games from last season when he was healthy. Supposedly asked to be traded over the summer. Now he gets his wish.

The Bucks and Knicks are two of the teams that are interested in EB. Also the 76er could be a fit as they have been trying to get rid of Okafor.

https://www.slcdunk.com/2017/10/23/...gets-earl-watson-fired-utah-jazz-phoenix-suns

http://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/10/pho...hia-76ers-jahlil-okafor-good-idea-makes-sense

That second article is hilariously bad. The author found a bunch of random fan tweets (likely from delusional Sixers fans) saying Bledsoe (sometimes misspelled) for Okafor and proceeded to write an article about why it makes sense for both teams.

What they actually do is explain why the Sixers would want Bledsoe (obvious) and then say Okafor used to be considered good and isn't playing for the Sixers and needs a change of scenery.

So if we're trading one bad player for Eric Bledsoe, I can think of 30 teams that would be a perfect fit.

What's the monetary cut-off for wanting to improve your work environment? How much does someone have to make before they aren't allowed to criticize, change, or improve their job?
this is sports dude, a game. Keep it in house...talk to whoever, no sense in crying on social media. its not a good look.

There are not 30 teams that need a starting point guard and have the cap space required. Philly is one that would that would work. However, I agree with you that the Suns don't need or want Okafor.

You didn't answer the question. How much can you make and still complain about your job?

Man if you could trade Holiday for Bledsoe...and holiday makes more money, right?

I just think jrue holiday is the single worst player in teh league from a value standpoint. He gives NO nothing, and they're paying a high price for it. Look what Jameer Nelson did for em....

But NO doesn't really need EB, nor would that solve their problems. Anyway they can get rid of Holiday is a step in the right direction.

I just want NO to be good so bad, but that's not gonna happen, so whatever.

Also, how do we know wtf Bledsoe was talking about. He doesn't seem like the type to post some vague and petty **** like that. My guess is he was talking about something totally different, like being at Bed Bath and Beyond with his wife. I'm sure he or his agent have voiced their opinion to management, but going the twitter route is lame, and EBled ain't that.

I was running some errands just now, listening to sports radio, isn't all this confirmed already? Bledsoe in fact does want out, and the Suns are actively looking to move him. Knicks are interested, sounds like this could get done pretty fast.

If I'm being objective, you can't keep a player asking for a trade. Same thing as Bryant on the Steelers.. if they want out, might as well cut ties and get something in return.

Bledsoe told the Suns GM he was at the hair salon when he sent the tweet and was talking about not wanting to be there. [roll]
