I dont know the answer to that, and certainly wont pretend to be an expert on CTE. All I can do is recite some of what came up during his trials- which mentioned gang affiliation back to his high school years, having other family with criminal history, acting out after losing a parent, etc.

I didnt disagree with you that CTE likely impacted him, could have even been the factor that pushed him over the edge - but he also made questionable choices much earlier in his life, and if CTE as its described now is evidenced by long term deterioration with symptoms showing up long after the actual trauma, those earlier decisions likely werent impacted by brain injury

It's pretty obvious that every awful thing that every football player has ever done is the result of CTE.

Ray Rice beating the hell out his girlfriend? CTE.

OJ Simpson decapitating his old lady? CTE.

Big Ben showing his wiener to a college chick? CTE.

Pacman Jones telling a Cincinnati police officer to "suck my dick and die?" CTE.

Troy Aikman dating Lorrie Morgan after she killed Keith Whitley? CTE.

Gonna start including "CTE" as an affirmative defense in every Answer I file, regardless of whether the defendant played football. You never know. Some idiot jury may buy it.

Picked up an LG Oled yesterday before the 2016 models are all gone. If you have a Panny Plasma and have grown accustom to it's awesomeness, this OLED is phenomenal.

Take this with a grain of salt as I may or may not have CTE.

In the gyero world of arguments only existing on the extreme absolutes and the non-existence of nuance or context, there's no such thing as actually being right, but this is the closest PTI has been to being right about something in months.

Crankdat makes a good point though, all these inflated suicide rates and neurological disorders and all of these doctors discovering evidence of extreme CTE in virtually all career NFL players is all a bunch of ******** because HELMETS.

I mean you know it's not a guess right? Not every football player is gonna kill himself or wind up with MS, but the rates are inflated, there's a clear correlation, and you can see the difference between a brain that's played football it's whole life and one that hasn't. I'm not saying OMG NOBODY SHOULD EVER PLAY FOOTBALL, but you can't look at the evidence and not see that there's a problem, especially at the NFL level, right?

There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that football helmets really don't do jack s*** to save your brain for being scrambled.


SAE can puff his chest out and act like a tough guy all he wants, but THAT is the problem. We're not talking about some inner city high school dropout who's looking at D'Quenzo's athletic ability as their meal ticket. We're talking about an intelligent, educated, upper middle class parent who is being completely dismissive of a mountain of evidence. What a shame.

Bristol and Vern on the block mud wrestling for rebounds. Shew.

If any of you want to play we have a group at church where we play every Monday at 6:00 & Wed at 6:30. Christ Church United Methodist on Brownsboro. Nice gym.

73 has come a few times. Dude still has that long range shoot from the waist shot. He also still goes psycho on defense. The last time he basically slammed me to the ground in the paint and tried to call a charge. He lost it. Even his teammates didn't know what to think.
