Again, why do our fans do this. Cal hired DeJuan Wagner's dad at Memphis.

This is the nost ridiculous and uninformed comparison I've seen in a long time. I'm not even going to begin to tell you how off you are. Research it then form a new opinion. I'll wait.

I would say WWW is someway a "special assistance" to coach Calipari.

Kansas is a second tier program. That's why you constantly take behavior problems, law enforcement problems, crooked parents, and risk around every corner. You can't get them any other way.

Eventually Kansas will be out on probation again, which is routine around every decade.

The reason they went KU so quickly was because they offered way more cash than anyone else. Plus they get free reign to terrorize the neighborhood. Every Lawson family member will be paid 6 figures as well.

You are the best good luck charm. Did it piss you off that you still could have had Brad Underwood this season if you have just fired Liberace?

Source KSR:

"Just when you thought things couldn’t get tougher for Tubby Smith, well, they did. Earlier today, redshirt junior Markel Crawford announced he is transferring from the program, the sixth player to do so since the season ended. Crawford was the Tigers’ second-leading scorer, averaging 12.8 points per game. The team’s leading scorer and third-leading scorers, Dedric and K.J. Lawson, announced their plans to transfer last week. (More on them in a minute.) Three starters gone in a week. Oof. Before that, sophomore guard Craig Randall II, freshman point guard Keon Clergeot, and grad transfer forward Chad Rykhoek made decisions to part ways with the Tigers."

Remember: Tubby is King of the Spring in recruiting. Won't be long until Memphis has the joy of welcoming the Adam Williams' and Michael Porters of the world. Also, heard Tubby is going to run more next year![cheers]

Does anyone know why Memphis didn't hire Penny Hardaway? He would have been a bargain, probably has good connections in AAU circuit - better than Tubby at least.

Maybe Pastner was cheating and Tubby refuses to break the rules.

Funny refuses to do a lot of things:
- recruit
- fire under performing assistants
- recruit
- not start his son
- recruit
- play up tempo
- recruit
- play to the strengths of the players he gets
- recruit

Yet there are still folks who think UK did him bad. Guy is just cashing checks now. My goodness. Six guys transfer after he's there one year. Imagine the articles if it were Cal.

Yep it is sad and pathetic. I don't care who you are but 6 players transferring at one time is stupid

Finally, all of the tubby loving idiots should now be convinced of what a disaster he has always been. Never, ever was he UK material..

Which is why Pitino recommended UK hire him. Which is why Pitino told everyone it would set our program back 10 years if we got rid of him.

He was a great fit for the players that Rick left behind, and that was pretty much it...

The kids on the '98 team made Tubby Smith millions and millions of dollars by taking over a team he had going nowhere and leading themselves to a national championship.

Smith should send them all royalty checks off every contract he signs.
