Never bet against SEC Hoops folks, like flushing money down the toilet. It just means more to us.

:eyes:

Getting way ahead here, but if Gators can handle biz, it will (should) go a long way going forward vs. the narrative that we're a bunch of garbage teams that UK runs through. Even if they don't, I think our conference has made a bit of a statement. Yes, We are ugly, but the athletes and **** takes a toll, and people are seeing it. SC has flat manhandled Duke, and now Baylor.

We have a LOT of good (and relatively young) coaches in this league now, it's only going to get better imo.

UNC is having one of their games...they & Kansas (and UCLA lol), at their best, are tough.

Really thought Butler would give them a decent game, though -- but I'm not totally surprised. UNC is just way too big, and if they are also hitting from deep - goodnight.

Apparently it's Bo Boroski. He's done one Kentucky game ever and it's the best game we've played in two seasons- Arizona State in Maui.

Loving the "Thornwell is the best 2 way player in the country" stuff from the National Boys. He's been ONE of the best all season, which we all knew, and nobody has even mentioned him until the Marquette/Duke games -- and now the hot takes are coming strong.

Also, nobody is talking about him being suspended early, which SC fought through pretty well, b/c they probably don't even know. LOL. Would be the perfect "fought through adversity" story, if they actually followed basketball outside of the BlueBloods and ACC/B1G/B12

Touching losers.

Having a little SEC pride here. I may say I don't care, but I do -- get sick of us being painted as playing in the OVC equivalent sometimes, when we all know we play SUPER BOWLS pretty much every goddamm night in conference. #nochad

Just heard some dipshits the other day when talking about the "disrespect" Gonzaga gets for their conference- "Nobody says anything about UK being in the SEC." [eyeroll]

GYERO was way out in front on how great the SEC is at basketball. :eyes:

Not saying that -- but we're wayyyy out in front on what WE face on weekly basis in conference play. People act like when we lose an SEC game not named Florida that we lost to Gardner Webb.

Meanwhile, nobody says a thing when UNC gets a miracle to beat UT at HOME, and a gift to beat Ark in the Dance. These dudes are game for US, and obviously game for other marquee opponents. We did well in the SEC/Big12 challenge as well.

SEC deserves much of its ****, but that's not who WE play on a regular basis...and it seems we're the only people who get that. Just glad to see a few teams taking care of some business...and we're a second away from a few more.

SEC has a long way to go to get with the Big 3/4 conferences, but we also don't play "nobody" the entire conference schedule, either. All I'm saying. For most of our conference, playing us is like a Tournament game for them, and they play accordingly, as do their 'fans'.

1:55 left, you're down 22, and you're rolling the ball, and fouling every possession? Get out of here with that ****
