Honestly I hope they get Duval over Duke - just assume for Duvall to go somewhere entirely though.

Kansas will be hurting next year -
I love it!

Really don't think Kansas needed him, but it's nice they won't have the chance to scuttle his early years to ensure he sticks around until he's a junior/senior.

How do they not need him? Graham is likely gone. They have no PG. Not one.

I wouldn't be so sure. Kansas still has Devonte Graham coming back and Malik Newman is red shirting this year. A healthy Azibuike and if Carlton Bragg would get his sh't together, Kansas would be tough. They need to find that 3 man to take Jackson's place.

This worked out perfectly for us. We land one of the few elite PGs in the class, our other top target at that spot goes somewhere harmless, KU misses out on a guy in their own backyard, and we land the guy who helps reel in the rest of our class.

We also sneaked in a stole another capable PG as a backup.

I'll say this about Kansas .. we seem to look at their current roster and say "Who do they have for next year!? They're done!".. And somehow, through part BS officiating, they turn 3-star coal lumps into diamonds. We laughed at FMIII and while I still think he's overrated, benefiting from the BS that is Kansas playing in the Big12.. he's pretty damn solid.

Kansas still has Vick and Newman. While not prototypical guards, they can adjust. Plus you better believe Self is working Graham right now. Word is that Young was too scurred of Graham coming back..

Glad for TY. They can build their team around him....he is a great shooter and will bring automatic offense to the Sooners....

Fine with it. We'll never see them because OU will scrape into the tourney at best. Just make sure to beat Kansas at least once so you stand a chance at getting on sports center!

If Graham comes back, they're fine.

Otherwise, they have no PG. Mason turned into a solid guard by his junior year and is outstanding this year, but he wasn't very good his first two years. So they may get another diamond in the rough but that still won't help them next year.

And I don't give a ish about their B12 streak. All I care about is Kansas as a national contender. Without Duval or Graham, they aren't one no matter if their weak conference lays down again or not.

Kansas still has the refs & that's all they need cause obviously, if u watch their games, they are the 3rd best team in the big 12.

They must have some amazing dorms at OU.

LOL, I know he chose Oklahoma, but I wonder what he thought about Kansas and their facilities. I was at Allen Fieldhouse about ten years ago and was shocked at how ugly the outside of it was, looked like an old gym with faded yellow exterior and just not what I expected. The inside was nice but still had the old gym look, surely they have repainted the outside by now. Wonder what Young's mom thought about the run down look the Fog had or was she just worried about where her baby sleeps?

I read the Kansas board and all year they have said word is Graham was leaving no matter what to go pro this year.
I have been reading the same thing. From what I have been reading Duval may not make the grades to play in collage.

Self, like Tubby Smith, coaches 3-4 stars much better than 5-stars. He just hasn't done well with young talent. Jackson is the most successful 5-star freshman that I can remember first Self.

Makes landing Green even better! Doesn't seem like he had any intention of leaving home, just wanted some hype.
