One of my UK buddies was/is very religious (not that there's anything wrong with that) and he hosted some party with a rootbeer keg on Maxwell. The polic showed up twice for noise complaints and the second time, they dumped the keg. The rootbeer keg.
Next year will be awesome, can't wait for the draft!PJ Washington
He’s also shooting about 35 percent from three-point range, leading the team in makes and attempts from long range — this from a player who attempted just 23 three-pointers in 23 games on the Nike circuit last summer and has often been hesitant to try his luck from deep.
WTF does "chip on the shoulder" even mean? Seems like a good thing to me. I mean - free chip.
Cal's always looking for some sort of slight or perceived slight or sign of disrespect. Guy needs a boogeyman even if he has to invent it. Being completely overlooked while Duke gets all the attention is a pretty good scenario to feed that mentality.
For those not on twitter
You've just described every single athlete and coach in the history of sports.
I mean, Micheal Freaking Jordan used to play "with a chip on his shoulder," and went to great lengths to invent and create fictional "slights" that were perceived against him in his own mind.
Cal has changed his approach with this bunch it seems. Usually he wants the kids to figure it out and then empower them per say but now he's saying... Touch that. I'm done with allowing the growing pains, prouduce now and play with confidence or sit down.
Think he's also done with the feed the Bam post experiment. Teams have been packing it in daring Monk to beat us by himself not allowing Bam adequate space to operate. When the jumpers start falling like they did on Tuesday then the driving lanes open up and late in the game you can feed Bam for post moves because by then the defense is extended.
Fox getting back to 100% plus Willis finding his shot... We can go toe to toe with anyone.
You made the "RIGHT TURN, CLYDE" poster, you SOB - you don't get to excuse yourself from that debacle.
- And here comes the Duke hype!
- I will give the millennials this- it seems, generally speaking, they take pride in being inclusive to special needs kids. That's a really nice thing. I love all these videos of these kids getting run in high school basketball games.
