There were a lot of inexcusable posts made after our loss last night. A UK loss and alcohol are obviously not a good combination. Maybe we need to implement a breathalyser before posting policy on here.
That is censorship, and btw, I enjoy hearing what drunk people have to say. There were a lot of inexcusable posts made after our loss last night. A UK loss and alcohol are obviously not a good combination. Maybe we need to implement a breathalyser before posting policy on here.
I like it! Install a breathalyzer on each device and post the BAC under "likes received". Might even make a contest out of it.There were a lot of inexcusable posts made after our loss last night. If these people are fans then their lives must just suck. Wth is wrong with them? What gets me is all the posters you only see after a loss, if we win never hear from them but damn a loss and their out in full force.
That's a good point, but with a distinction. The anonymity of the internet emboldens people. You could get punched out at the barber shop or at least have some sense shamed into you.Nothing has changed other than our ability to disseminate information in real time on a global scale.
What was once the bastion of the coffee shop moved to the call-in show to now the internet.

Big difference. When a lunatic posts something every other lunatic in the world can read it. Then you get an effect rather a bunch of dogs when a fire truck passes by. Dogs love to howl and bark at each other.
The coffee shop was only so big. The Internet is bigger and the dogs can type.
Just clean the board up yourself , I don't see the point in discussing anything with someone who doesn't have the ability to be rational . There's a good number of posters I don't see anymore .
I haven't counted my ignore list but it has to be one of if not the biggest on the board and it's a far better board than it used to be . I like talking to people who can think after a loss instead of emotional tantrums void of reason .I saw a thread started last night by a poster with a total of 13 posts who said that he wasn't going to defend this team anymore. I just shook my head.
I wanted to ask him when has he ever defended this team in any of his previous 12 posts. But, I just chose to ignore him. He won't be back when we win again.
Can we have a march?I'm a naaaasty poster.
Starting to sound like the hateful and embarrassing posts toward the Harrison twins and Cal at that time. Of course they went on to lead us to two Final Fours. There were a lot of inexcusable posts made after our loss last night. A UK loss and alcohol are obviously not a good combination. There was more than one coffee shop or corner store.
I find fault in the thinking that this is some new development. The internet just simply amplifies the voices. The voices have always been there and always will be.
This also allowed most people to sleep on the outcome of a game before they started discussing it. It gave some a chance to sober up. It gave other time to suffer their gambling losses......not they are lamenting on their computers during the game.Nothing has changed other than our ability to disseminate information in real time on a global scale.
