-Try to like hockey, I did when I was younger, just can't get into it. Live is much more enjoyable, that's for sure. We used to frequent the Icehawks.

Starbucks drive thru line faster than going inside. They have 4-5 people working the drive thru...you're lucky to even get someone inside anymore.
Drive thru lets me sit in the car and listen to the Bonfire replays, whatever else I have on the car radio. It's a little moment of peace.
Nest has indoor and outdoor camera setups and I think you can have them archive 10 days worth of streaming for fairly cheap.
Sometimes I find the most mundane of tidious errands to run as a valid excuse to get in the car and listen to tunes or catch up on a podcast.

Only holdup is in-home privacy...my wife is on her phone pretty much nonstop, and don't really like the idea of being watched all the time. That would just feel weird imo. She'll think that's fun watching the dogs and such, and be on it all the damn time, zero doubt in my mind about that.
A few work folks have SimpliSafe but it looks like something that would be sold at Toys R Us and I would be embarrassed to have it in my home.
