The biggest freak out on my feed came from a girl I went to HS with who described herself with words like afraid, sad, angry, despair, panicked etc Then noted she was glad she was living in Australia away from all this stuff but she fears for her family's well being.

Evidently overnight all of America became 1960s Mississippi.

With their production schedule, I would be surprised if a new South Park is able to air tonight. They literally get those things done at the last minute (after working on them for just a week), and I'm betting they - like most other people - were contemplating a Clinton win. They may pull it off, but it'll take a hell of an effort.

With they way they have been creating season long story arcs and taking 1-3 breaks during seasons recently, I imagine they made two episodes in advance

They made a documentary about their production schedule and it is the craziest **** you'll ever see. They don't start work on an episode - including writing it - until the Thursday or Friday before it's due to air. You may be right, but that would take a Herculean effort.

6 Days to Air is fantastic, but I think since they have moved away from their episodic format and towards season long arcs (the past two seasons) they have actually started making more and more scenes before the season airs. Basically, they probably have the parts of the episode not related to the election already in the can and have for a while.

They also skipped a week last week, so they had two weeks to prepare for either outcome instead of the usual one

Least surprising news of the say is UCL watched a documentary on the production schedule for South Park. Of course you did.

Still hard for me to believe that Maria Shriver, who has been involved in national politics since birth, was encouraging west coast voters to get out and keep voting last night as if it would have any impact whatsoever on the final outcome. Completely clueless apparently.

Weren't there Cali/local things for them to still vote on even if the Presidential election was decided? Didn't see what you were talking about.

If you haven't listened to Oscar Combs podcast with Jim Host, its a helluva walk through UK athletics history. Some really good stories on UK coaches, UK almost-coaches, SEC what-ifs, UK-ACC stuff, etc.

One FB friend who said not only did she wake up "devastated" but that she "woke up 3 days ago her clock set back one hour and today it was set back 65 years." I really liked Chad's post this morning, kudos to wcc.

I voted Trump but I have a lot of family and friends who are liberal and while I don't expect them to be happy you look and sound ridiculous when you keep talking about "he appealed to the hate in America" when we can't have a civil discussion because any disagreement with them is met with you're a "racist, sexist, bigot", Those words lose their potency when you use them again and again. By the same token, I'm embarrassed by being on the same side as "Obama is a moo-slim" and putting Jesus back in Washington.

That most of the polls and the media got it so wrong is absolutely no surprise when you had a good number looking angry, ready to cry last night. Journalism in this country is dead when you can't show anymore objectivity to HALF the country than a UofL basketball forum discussing UK.

If your children (under teenagers) are genuinely scared by the election then you are doing a poor job of parenting. Even if you are scared, they definitely shouldn't feel it.
Basically what I told my two this morning.

Them: "who won dad?"
Me: "Donald Trump"
Them: (playfully): Boo!
Me: you're 7 and 9, you don't need to worry about stuff like this. Go to school and be nice to all of your friends and have a good day. Don't talk about it.

I was worried my daughter would be upset- she wanted Clinton to win because #girlpower, which is fine with me because she's a kid.

She was upset for a second then ate some donuts. Honestly she was more upset the morning after UK lost to Wisconsin.

The "Feel the Bern" folks convinced that he was the candidate capable of winning- i'm not sure of that either. I mean he wasnt exposed as much in the primary as he wouldve been in a general election. A lot of his ideas were not fiscally realistic, and his college student special snowflake followers were going to be as annoying or worse than the "I'm with Her's" in driving middle Americans to the polls.

Preseason polls, smdh

I owe you an apology, Adam. I would have thought they would be stumping for Gary Johnson during recess.

UKO --> you're a real f'ing prick.

Nah, I'm actually doing great....church, job, home and family all exceptional, and have new shoes too. Enjoying the ride to its fullest.

Hope your misery clears up soon. Life is too short to walk around like you are.

She was clearly talking about the presidential race in her tweet. "This election is much closer than anyone anticipated. West coast: you can still vote! Get out there! This is close!"

We just got it, and 12 hours later the market is at an all time high on the news. Thought the world was ending today, so it's a small step in the right direction.

PTI(pti) want Obama at Pres 4 Life, or what? Still have no clue what he's trying to argue...that the country has never been better, Obama is/was unreal, and Hillary was the babe to keep it going? Elections don't matter? Anyone who is favor of change (aka, anyone who voted Trump, Jill, Egg Mcmuffin, Johnson) is stupid? Still confused.
