Joey, when are they going to start installing kids with homing devices so we can track their whereabouts on our phones? The twins are 3...by the time this technology gets to the heart of Western KY they'll be adults won't they?

I'm a retro parent, pretty sure the helicopters in our pre-school group find me and my kids rather, well, disgusting.

:baseball:Llama's was right with his concerns it seems- in hindsight maybe Francona should have gone for the jugular with Miller early in game 5. Baseball is way too easy to play the hindsight game- especially in these series when managers dont really make the same decisions they make throughout the year.

:baseball:It's going to get lost in all of the other storylines of the series, but Arrietta won two games on the road and that is pretty remarkable.

:baseball:Will be interesting to see what happens with free agents and off season decisions. Cubs have a lot of talent but not enough room for all of them to get in the everyday lineup. I doubt they do it, but Schwarber would likely fetch a nice pool of young talent if they moved him to an AL team.

:baseball:My dad reminded me last night he was at a game in Cincy a couple of years ago when Rizzo and Chapman went back and forth and the benches cleared. When youre in the middle of losing 100 games you actively look for reasons to fight people though.

*A friend of ours rescued two 1 yr old dogs from a puppy mill and is fostering them for awhile. The dogs had never seen or been on grass before. Just sat in cages or **** in a concrete cell where they were kept. Their first reaction to playing in a yard was awesome. Im a sucker for those stories.

*Between where I work and some nearby schools- i've lost count of how many drug overdose deaths there have been this year already. I certainly cant count them on one hand. Not sure what the solution is. These aren't pill addicted people whose prescription runs out and they have to find something else... its recreational use or even trying something one time- and just like that its over. Not sure what type of solution there is, and it actually happens less around here than in other areas of the country. Sad situation.

*87 degrees here and we have a 24 hour christmas music station going

Each time the camera showed Lebron this series, I heard this kid

I get that it's baseball's shtick to go zany about statistics and unique situations but I was one more Joe Buck announcement of, "and this is only the third time since an extremely arbitrary date than an extremely arbitrary thing happened," from throwing my GD monitor out the window. It's cool that David Ross was the oldest to hit a home run in a game 7 and Russell was just the second or third to hit a Grand Slam, it isn't cool that Javy Baez is just the 12th person to ever strike out bunting in game 7 of the world series, on the road with runner's in scoring position.

We get it.

I wanted more commentary on the dick-bumping celebration tbh. I mean, those guys were straight up bumping dicks.

We shall see who is stupid when she is indicted.
It'll still be you.
Ok, this is pretty awesome.

That might be awesome, but where is Grandpa from, where does he live now, how many years has he been rooting for the Cubs and can he spell "Grudzielanek."

I'd hate to think grandpa is just another WGN-watching, bandwagon *****.

Starting second round of steroids and antibiotics in the last three weeks. Pretty sure I've got undiagnosed lung AIDS. So, may want to revoke that performance based motion you made, BBdK.

Went to lunch at this place today....

libertycheesesteaks.com

....mostly because it makes BBdK jealous. They do decent business, but today they were SLAMMED. The owner was working the register and couldn't even chit chat because he was so busy. There was basically a revolving door of people coming and going.

And every single one was there for Uber Eats. Started yesterday.

you here for uber?
yeah.
whats your reference number?

Can't wait until the city government finds out about this. You can't just have people all willy nilly driving around and delivering food. This will get completely out of hand!!

Place is unreal. BBdK actually ordered a wodie meat slicer today from Amazon, with Philly Steaks leading the charge.

Should go wodie with the Baking Steel/Griddle insert coming for the range.

-Looked at a slicer but considering Sloot about cut her finger off within 10 minutes of owning a mandolin and they take up tons of room.. nah.

-Meat mixer and sausage stuffer though. WAF.

-Shout out to Humana Vitality for the (7) $25 Amazon gift cards I earned this year. Almost covers the mid-20% increase you're proposing for next year even though we had 85%+ participation in the program. GET PUMPED with Obama.

Jesus, I'm going to have to delete my account for Cubbiesbook for a week or so because every f*cking post is some loser bandwagon fan or media outlet showing Bill (he's soooo crazy) Murray drinking champagne.

I was kinda thinking the same thing, but then I came across the Cub fan being KTFO by and Indian enthusiast.

WORLDSTAR!!

Never had an issue with the mandolin. Cut myself twice, both with dull knives...which are the most dangerous things in the kitchen, much moreseo than sharp ones, TS.

Plenty of room for gadgets in her Ree Drummond walk-in pantry.

My ultimate dream, which I won't let myself have (obviously), is a cheese sass dispenser. Shew wee.

Looking for hard working apprentices. Come on over. Pay is really low to start but you can move up quickly, insurance just got jacked up(we pay the employee portion)/401k/dental, work outside, pretty solid guys and we have corn hole, Play Station, pool table setup for down time.

Career change.

You also get to draw dicks on other people's uniforms or the owner's car when it gets dirty.

Just an fyi: groups with 51 or more employees are underwritten based on risk. Obamacare and the ACA has little to do with a pricing increase at this point.

<-- hates Obamacare/the ACA, but it's a convenient (and igorantly placed) scapegoat way too often.

Similarly, when I totaled my car 4 years ago, it would be ignorant for me to blame minimum coverage mandates, personal injury attorneys, and the profitability of KYFB for my drastically increased rates.

That's fn ridiculous. I think you need to create babies and quit playing around with meat and cheese.

Just curious -- what parts of the affordable care act do you feel most contributed to your rate increase this year versus last?

HVAC apprentices. Not really magicians. I forgot about the dicks drawing. That's a pretty substantial benefit.
