Chad should just write a fng book on what is and what isn't allowed under the sports rules for true fandom.
Who gives a flying **** why people decide to cheer for said team, especially professionally?
Good grief. Almost becoming a worst topic than politics.
GO FNG CUBS. FLY THE W UP ALL REDS' FANS ASSES. CHEERS TO HARRY CARY. KISS MY ***.
This is correct. Becoming a firm believer in nature trumping nurture.UCL and B Rax seem to have much different approaches to parenting, and yet from what I gather, both of their kids are absolute banshees.
So really what I'm hearing is- I'm f'd no matter what.
Parents are all terrible and stupid. We should all, without hesitation, listen to those who live totally alone and have no responsibilities to anyone other than themselves.
NoGet two (2) rescue puppies and get back to me. Until then, I don't wanna hear any **** from my friends who have ONE (1) kid.
Have argued with Jerry about this for years.

[laughing]Chase = the ultimate Helicopter Parent.
What a loser.
When he bolts to play for a good team, as he absolutely should, the :fire:takes:fire: about how he should have stuck it out and built a championship team in NO are going to be awful.Anthony Davis is averaging....
32 points
12 rebounds
3 blocks
2 assists
....per game -- and the Pelicans are 0-5. For those of you who hate competitive balance, enjoy.
Louisvillians' inability to understand that most people's loyalty to pro teams is every bit as genuine as theirs to college teams is rather tone deaf. Get out of Louisville sometime.
Disagree, Chad. Say that most new age fans of professional sports has little to do with where they grew up or whom they cheered for growing up and more to do with what city they currently live in... Especially with the NFL.
My sister has lived in LaFayette, La for 9 years now and frequents New Orleans often. She's adopted the Saints as her NFL team. My other sister isn't much a sports nut but she lived in Chicago for 2 plus years and loved to hang out and go to games in Wrigleyville. She became a casual Cubs fan. One of my best friends moved to Cincy 7 yrs ago with no NFL team and became a huge Bengals fan over time.
Would also argue that UL is kind of the city of Louisvillle's pro team. There's a solid portion of their fanbase that aren't die hard in the wool Louisvillians but they became UL fans bc they moved here for Brown Forman, YUM, etc.
Most big college fanbases are built around alumni and growing up in said state. Think pro fanbases are a little more bandwagon/flimsy and built around what city the fans live in.
Let me know when you have to wipe your dogs asses, get their clothes on, control their irrational rage or sadness in a public place, keep them from walking aimlessly into a pile of burning leaves, wash them every single day, teach them to do things other than not piss and **** in the house, etc...etc...etc...
I'm sure having two dogs is much tougher when you walk out the door and say "see ya in a few hours doggy" versus packing up a 2ft pile of flesh that is constantly rotating between eruptions of piss, ****, and emotion, is in constant motion, and won't STFU.
If you didn't have the basic human instinct to love them, you'd see a lot of babies thrown into traffic.
My sister is a HUGE UK fan- just ask her. LOVES UK. Posts about it on Facebook all the time. Just went to Columbia last weekend with her husband to watch the Cats.
With that in mind, let me share an anecdote. It's December 2009, UK is locked into a barnburner with UConn in MSG. My sister is watching the game with me, cheering, trading high 5s. With two minutes to go in a two-point game, I see her go into her room. "Where are you going?" "To bed," she answers. "What? The game's almost over! We're up 2 with 2 to go." "I'm tired. Good night."
