*It'd be poetic if we won out, played Bama relatively close in the SEC championship game, and then Stoops was hired away from us by a "big-time" program. I mean, I'd be fine with it since we'd be in a much stronger position to make a good hire, but still, would be kind of funny.

*I thought the floor looked great on TV. Much prefer the brighter lights.

It doesn't happen often but I really hope we can get in one full blowout of Louisville in the next four years so lil' Cal can get in and bomb a couple threes on them, maybe give the crowd a DX "suck it" chop if he's REALLY feeling it. Gotta think some heads would explode.

Craps actually has the best odds and is the easiest to play for a while because everyone is playing the same roll. When someone goes on a good roll and the table is amped up its pretty great. Love playing Black Jack at a casino but hate the guys that take it so seriously and start bitching because someone split 9's when the dealer was showing a 5 or whatever. Just STFU and let people gamble however they want. In some situations I can see it but in general I hate those guys.

Used to play partypoker.com all the time in college, was up thousands of dollars and then it was shut down by the government and I lost all my money which was good times.

What is everyone bitching about about Rupp now? That the blue is too light in color? WTF?

Looks like Fox is going to be our main facilitator and ball handler with Briscoe playing combo and looking to score a little more. I like it. Assumed we'd be best with 3 guards playing, but didn't realize Wenyen had that stroke (which he will probably be using less and less as the season goes on). Hope he sticks around past this year he'll be amazing to see develop.

The Water Fountain is on the Houston Rockets official roster, btw. Too bad he couldn't have even played here on our **** shooting teams of late, wouldn't have gotten a single minute -- but can be an All American and NBA Basketball player.

Jay Mattox officially lost that one, enjoy.

One of the last vestiges of my childhood is that I still get a scootch creeped out Halloween night. Always like to see the sun come up that All Saints Day morning and really turn the page to Thanksgiving.

Minor (kind of) thing that I enjoy about this team...they seem to be very good at finishing at the basket. Really nice to see, and will keep the redass in check.

So apparently this is the floor? Not bad. Looks fantastic in this photo. Unfortunately, that's not what's being broadcast. Joey, need your pantone help on this one.

Lol at PTI(pti) bringing a date to Vegas...and putting her up at the Best Western. [eyeroll]

Got no beef w/ Casino Royale and the $1 Michs, but staying there...with a woman? You can stay right across the street at the Mirage for an extra $20, or Caesar's for an extra $40. Totally convinced he does those types of things on purpose just to draw a reaction, can't really think of another reason.

Oh well, at least he's not camping.

Time to calibrate your tv, 73. Look up the owner thread for your model on Avsforums and use one they list, or get the Disney Wow blu Ray and adjust accordingly. Takes 10 minutes, maybe.

The floor looked fantastic while standing on it.

Also noticed Willis had a paper cut on his right index finger. Hope he gets some Neosporin on that.

Tried Big Shake's Hot Chicken on Broadway last night. Got the level above mild, and that **** was :fire::fire::fire::fire:. There's 6 levels of hot, we get Level 3, and it was burning my mouth and making my wife tear up. I can't imagine doing any of the hotter levels, and we both love spicy food. Be warned if you try.

Not sure who #BigBlueBrags more, Palumbo or Todd Harris. I'm going to bet Harris's spot was earned rather than given.

Bam dunked one last night, it didn't look like he jumped with much effort, and he was eye level with the rim. :flushed: He's going to be a rich man's Julius Randle. Somebody's going to have to be really special this year to beat him for #1 overall pick in the next draft.

Raiders set an NFL record with 23 penalties for 200 yards, missed 2 GW field goals, and still won. [pfftt]

Ready for this election to be over to people can resume buying stuff. :weary:

Yeah, I get it. The 2012 team wasn't very athletic. Doron Lamb couldn't dunk.

And of course the 2017 team is more athletic. That's this year's team. Much more NOW than 2012.
