Did Stoops knock up another coed? What does Vegas know?????

I don't get it, man. Mizzou is down some starters on defense and they just lost at home to MTSU, who lost to Vandy by 30. Meanwhile, we're running the ball on everybody.

I get that Stoops is 1-15 on the road, but still.

Of course, MSU went from -3 to -6½ last week and that turned out well.

It's weird steam, but not really if you consider UK Football.

C'mon guys.\

Basically what it means is that we're going to lose by 5, since Anth and I have it at +3.5 and +4.5

- Well today was breakfast with Rex. I know you all are wondering how it went so here's the rundown:

I had BOTH the sausage patties and crispy bacon strips. /rundown

- I have some buddies driving up to Chicago this weekend just to watch the games at a bar. They won't even try to purchase a ticket. Just watching it from a bar probably 20 blocks from Wrigley. I can't decide if that's stupid or genius. After all, they did sell this as "history" to their significant others and got a free hallpass weekend in Chicago (who knows, they may even bump into Rogue and REALLY have something to talk about). I'm thinking they're dumbasses, but I haven't had the time to really analyze all of the nuances yet.

- I was as nervous as a house cat when I learned we were pregnant for the fist time. How in the world was I going to be responsible enough to guarantee the survival of another human being? Then I realized there are a ton of semi-literate, semi-hygienic whitetrash parents out there, and their offspring seem to be thriving and multiplying at an alarmingly healthy rate. So I figured if they can do it . . . I'd probably be able to pick up on it as I went.

- 20's Flapper girl and Super Mario.

- Flapper Girl turns 9 tomorrow and has decided to host a sleep-over. Six 8-11 year old girls giggling about Henry Danger ought to make for a restful weekend after having late practice all week.

- You can't give us more than that? Weak. How was Rex?

- You can't put a price or description on the electricity in the air of a scene like that. If I was a Cubs fan, I'd do the same thing. It's the same reason I love Lexington in March and Louisville Derby week. The excitement is palpable. It's such a rare occurrence to get to feel that.

- [laughing] Six 8-11 year old girls. Good luck with that. Can't wait to hear how awesome having a daughter is when you Dads have to start dealing with sleepovers, dating and high school.

Some little brat is coming over for a play date with my 6-yr old tomorrow - during the Cats game. Seriously. Take them outside now.

If you are going to Chicago for history, you have to get as close as possible to Wrigley/Wrigleyville IMO.

Had a sleepover for my oldest when she turned 9 this summer.

I pulled the "I'll take the boy out for a few hours, get him out of your all's hair" move. Took him to the local brewery for crafties (me), water, and Monopoly for a spell. Came home when everyone else was getting ready for movie and bed.

I'm basically the Kevin McHale of crafty dad moves.

Actually, if you're going to Chicago for history, I'd suggest going to the Field Museum of Natural History, also known as The Field Museum- a natural history museum in Chicago, and one of the largest such museums in the world. The museum maintains its status as a premier natural history museum through the size and quality of its educational and scientific programs, as well as due to its extensive scientific specimen and artifact collections. The diverse, high quality permanent exhibitions, which attract up to 2 million visitors annually, range from the earliest fossils to past and current cultures from around the world to interactive programming demonstrating today's urgent conservation needs.

Honestly, Rex was engaging, charming, and seemed very sincere. Dude still looks like he could play, lean and toned. At 48 (I'm guessing), I'd say he could still easily dunk. He's a little quirky and you can tell that when he was younger, he was an odd duck. He basically said as much.

This was a fundraiser event for our local Boys and Girls club so he told a lot of old NBA and UK stories, which were pretty funny (albeit a little ironic). I don't know if he has moved back to the Bluegrass or what, but he did spend the last 48 hours or so in this community. The time he spent with the kids looked "real." I had a couple of students who were friends of his host show me videos on their phone of Rex playing some pickup ball with them. He's like a big kid.

Funniest thing he talked about was how he babysat for Dell Curry when he was a rookie in Charlotte. HE GOT TO CHANGE STEPH CURRY'S DIAPERS!!!! SHITTIN ME?!?!?!

- Max, I tried to pull the "I'll take 6 y.o. son out and spend time with him" move, but my wonderful mother-in-law said she would take that burden off our back and now I can stay home! What a gal!

- I think being in Chicago this weekend would be awesome and of course I'm jealous I'm not going. But I don't think they get within 10 blocks of Wrigley. Too crowded. Too expensive. Too exclusive.
