Hope everyone has watched Red Dawn recently and is all caught up on their survival skills as Homeland Security and the FBI have been working on a major Internet attack the past 3 hours.:boxing::americanflag::americanflag::boxing:

I've actually mixed a little bourbon in recently. Restocking the scotch probably Sunday or next week, I still have some available. He said I could sub it out with something else. I said it will have to wait until football is over.

If I dropped 15 lbs I'd likely have less back issues and the booze(especially beer) causes inflammation.

He also hates running and strongly suggests me finding something else.
Did you sign up with Jim?

I just want some private aviation in my life. Can I go to the beach with your wife? I do think I would be scared on a Cessna though.

This made me laugh. I'm sure a WHEELS UP membership will happen some day for the Schems.

Dad had a private pilot's license when I was a kid, so my first intro to flying was in Cessnas, Beechcraft, Pipers, etc. Granted, it's been over 25 years since I've been up in one, but would have no aversion at all. Did get to fly in one of these last year en route to our resort in the Maldives:

By my calculations a nuclear holocaust, zombiepocalpyse, electromagnetic pulse, economical disaster, deadly virus would probably last 2-3 years. We have enough organic non-gmo canned goods in our house to last at least 8. We good, in fact come on over if it happens. I have a stand alone generator, we'll karaoke, byob.

Sat in the co-pilot seat on our flight from San Juan to Vieques a few years back on a little 8 seater (volunteered, short legs) , not something I wish to do again.

Thing bobbled and weaved like a damn paper airplane -- think my wife would have preferred to just jump out and end it, but I think the door was locked or something.

First plane ride of my entire life was on Killa's family plane to the UK/IU game in Indy back in 94, which was about the same as ^. Not a good way to have your first experience, imo.

Don't have to run ultra marathons to be a runner, weirdo.

I've run 3+ days a week for 10 years. If that's not a runner, so be it.

You can watch the episodes and/or clips on heykentucky.com. It's basically a TV podcast.
Let me know when I can basically subscribe to its RSS feed and have it basically passively download to my iPhone so it'll basically show up when it's released and I'll be able to basically watch it whenever I basically want.

The thing I've observed about crossfitters...they tend to be in incredible shape. I mean really impressive. I also tend to see a lot of them at the office.

People that are in to yoga also are in pretty nice shape. Don't see many yoga injuries though.

SKJ plays like a junior on offense. Relaxed and knows where to be and ready to shoot it off the bounce. Needs a lot of work defensively but they all do.

Monk and Willis look like more than enough to keep the zones honest.

Fox, Monk, and Briscoe are going to be hellacious on defense. Fox is a blur. Smooth like Knight but almost as fast as Wall.

If Fox can hit pull up threes in transition, good f'ing luck. Might as well tell your point guard to get water on the sidelines on defense and let him do what he wants.

Finebaum is so distinctive that you might recognize him if you had only seen him a time or two on tv.

Sort of like Abraham Lincoln, about whom the following was said "not only is the ugliest man I ever saw, but the most uncouth and gawky in his manners and appearance."
Makes me like the guy moreso. So he was ugly and uncouth but smart enough to talk the most important, headstrong people in the country into doing his will. Solid. Extra plus on the uncouth part, KY to the core compare to his subordinate counterparts.

Jim Laird. You had asked me for my trainers info once awhile back. The guy you described sounds like him...hates running, pushing heavy sleds, med ball slams, tire sledges, etc. Dude knows his stuff.
This is called functional training. My boy Joe Rogan preaches it.I do it to a degree but also like the Hollywood muscle along with it.

Gabriel looks like he takes about four steps before he ever starts moving when he is running.

Also, this Fox good looks like he might be alright.
