As they did before, Louisville will just ignore any show-cause order like they did with Clint Hurtt without penalty.
not just ignore it but say the NCAA's conclusions are full of **** & they believe their cheater over their investigation

Mags52 saying the banner is still in jeopardy, lol. obvious they are getting completely off, the only question is how many games they pop Pitino for (gonna guess less than Boheim's 9).

If we ever get sanctioned by the NCAA, and we accept any form of punishment other than a slap on the wrist, I will be screaming at the top of my lungs not at whoever cheated, and not at the NCAA, but at the pussboi administrators who accept a punishment from such a limped dicked, toothless, band of hypocritical c*ck gobbling *** clowns.

Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.

13 months ago if you were offered this entire scenario: a salacious scandal involving whores would rock UofL basketball, forcing them to self-impose an NCAA tourney ban and resulting in 4 Level 1 allegations we ALL would have asked where do we sign.

Of course I would have liked more, but let's not lose sight of our good fortune. The entire dialogue regarding the programs and cheating has changed forever, and in our favor. And it's all been too much fun: Jazzy, squirt to the ceiling, LOUISVILLE MAN, etc.

Happy to be a pig here, gang. We are blessed.

So UNC cooked up the biggest academic fraud scheme in history, and UL hired whores to f**k basketball recruits and little to nothing will come of either. That's pretty damn amazing. And depressing.

It's especially depressing if you line them up and compare them to the UMass and Memphis cases, or even the Emery case. These latest two are much more egregious imo.

I think UL's immediate reaction to only dispute the issues specifically naming Pitino probably tell you what the priority is for them/him. Knowing that no other substantial penalty is on the table- they will NOT have their coach subject to this embarrassment.

The fact that it happened doesnt concern Pitino. The fact that the NCAA left open the possibility that he may have done something/anything wrong is what bothers him.

He's a pretty spot on sociopath.

Bottom line, pre-Penn State, if a team staff member was found to have supplied current players and recruits with 14 stripper parties and 11 sex acts from whores, then the program would've forfeited all wins in which those players had played. And that would've been the least of their worries. The coach would have been fired immediately, especially if he was specifically charged with failing to monitor a staff member, as he is here, and he would've struggled to get a decent job anywhere else, ever again. Scholarships would've been lost for several years, recruiting visits severely limited, and maybe another post-season ban.

But, since those little pussies got their asses handed to them by a pedophile ring posing as a University, they've become gun-shy.

If UofL challenges their finding that Pitino failed to monitor McGee, it would be incredible if they said, "well, okay...if you did monitor him as you say, then you must have known about all of this. You can't have it both ways. We'll amend our findings and punishment accordingly. Enjoy."

Of course, that'll never happen, as it makes too much sense and would bring me too much joy.

Question I've not seen raised: How does the charge against Pitino affect UL's obligation to pay out his remaining contract? Will be interesting to see just how hard UL goes out of it's way to defend Pitino. Especially with Ramsey in limbo. Jurich will obviously fight for his friend, but at some point when do the adults take over the farm?

Carry on GYERO, I'll hang up and listen.

UofL skates off into the sunset virtually unscathed. Plus they somehow rode the aspect of sitting out last years tournament into positive PR for their Louisville Men transfer guards. Whole damn world is insane.

First off- we don't know that. They'll get some kind of addition to their punishment.

Secondly- how are they virtually unscathed? This is just one more example of all-or-nothing in today's world. They were humiliated and lost a tournament in which they definitely could have made a Final 4 run. Obviously, I agree they deserve a bigger punishment but they were hardly unscathed. Their program is a joke nationally and we'll be making ***** jokes for years to come.

Now, UNC's future lack-of-punishment is the biggest joke. Doubt they receive anything.

I think there is plenty of room between all or nothing in which they couldve fallen- but it likely wouldve needed an Institutional Control allegation before anything more with any substance or impact would come into play.

Worst case now would probably be Pitino sitting a few games- and that may never happen if he sees it coming and just wants to finish this year and call it a day.

And is their program really a joke nationally? You really think this will have any real impact on that program? You think all the sudden after this letter their recruits are gonna back away or their fans are going to all the sudden think "hey you know what maybe this is the last straw for me." They may get some ribbing in the very short term- but thats going to be about it.

Oh, absolutely, they're a joke. Of course, it won't be as bad of hit as if it would've been with Kentucky, but that has everything to do with Kentucky's standing as the #1 program in the land.

To us, they are. To any fan outside of the Bluegrass state / Tobacco Road, it's nothing.

College basketball itself is such a niche sport on the national landscape these days that outside of March Madness, very few pay attention to the inner-workings of the sport.

It'll be a news item today. Brought up randomly throughout their games this year but come tourney time, if they're clicking, it won't be about the allegations. The narrative will be about Pitino doing another masterful coaching job, like it has in years post Sypher.

Small bumper pool table, shuffleboard, and a cocktail table Pacman style arcade system would make for a great game room.

-I used Raatz at my last house for black aluminum fence. Great price, product, and service. Had them come out a few weeks ago to look at 3 panels that were damaged by a tree and it was ridiculous. YMMV.

-Picked up 2 dozen of the Kirkland golf balls from the costco website yesterday. The data says they have the same compression as a 2015 ProV1. 4 piece urethane. I suck enough at golf that it doesnt matter but $1.25 for a nice ball is a pretty good deal.
