Yep, no bias in that post. :joy:I am not one who believes in conspiracy theories, but the NBA playoffs this season have me thinking otherwise. The officiating has been nothing short of pure crap. I am not fan of the Cavs or the Warriors and don't really care who wins, however the BS the Cavs/James got away with last night was comical. The Cleveland Browns could only pray they had a running back that runs over players like James does. I have to agree with Steve Kerr, the last fouls on Curry were ridiculous. I will be pulling for the Warriors on Sunday only because I don't want to see Cleveland win a championship in any sport and I certainly don't want to see Princess James win another title.
dont say that man! They've got momentum and bron, bron wants that bad... They've also got some injures that could cost'em ..I was in no way implying the series is over, I know exactly how this works, we will lose game 7 and be so close yet so far, again.
My few observations:
- The games have gotten very physical - that hurts GSW and helps CLE (It also almost got OKC into the finals). GSW is just not as physically strong - and the foul calling is inconsistent - so they've looked lost last two games.
- If GSW cannot shoot better - they are going to lose. Obvious - but they HAVE to hit shots, have not been and CLE HAS been the last two games. Harrioson Barnes was terrible last night.
- Lebron has been playing so well - he may be riding into game 7 too confident for GSW to stop. The ego beast has been fed.
- I've gained some respect for Kyrie in the series - still shoots too much - wants to be "THE MAN" - but more in the area of sportsmanship. I know he's a University of Douche alum.
- Curry, Klay and the GSW interior have been somewhat exposed the last two games - but hitting shots would have made that not so much the case. When a shooting team cannot shoot - they look terrible. When they can shoot - they look brilliant.
- Tristan Thompson is a great rebounder - but get's by with a ton of fouling underneath. Ezili is too often lost on defense.
- Richard Jefferson has been a huge boost for CLE this series - but bitches entirely too much after every call. #annoyingAF
- I know there are Curry haters here - and Lebron Haters here. I will just say this... Curry lost his mind out of sheer frustration last night and only fed his haters that he is a whiner and gets a pass on too many calls. Lebron on the other hand showed his true colors when he got the block on Curry and had to verbally taunt him - Lebron has matured greatly over the years especially in learning the right things to say in post game interviews and press conferences - but if anyone wonders why there are Lebron haters - there's your answer.
- Oh yes - and the officiating has been terrible, inconsistent and highly suspect. Makes you wonder who the NBA wants to win game 7. $$$
Never will understand how LeBron has managed to irritate so many for doing things so many others have done.
How, exactly, did he "dump" on Cleveland by leaving in the first place? He was a free agent, not under contract - that's how that works. Same for the second move back to Cleveland. he wanted to switch teams - why the big deal, happens all the time. Never understand those who criticized him for teaming up with two other stars (although I hesitate to call Bosch a star). By the time he left, Cleveland had proved they weren't interested in getting him any help - that team he took to the finals to play San Antonio might be the worst finals team in history. Mo Williams at point? It was easy for Magic and Bird and Barkley to criticize that move - but it made no sense. Bird had McHale and Parrish and DJ; Magic had Kareem; Barkley had Dr J and Moses. They didn't have to switch teams to have great teammates. As far as the "not 1, not 2, not 3...." - I know that self-aggrandizement at times doesn't go over well - but it's ironic that we just saw a worldwide celebration of Ali, and when it comes to bragging and boasting and self-aggrandizing, LJ can't hold a candle to Ali, he's a true piker. I know, I know, inconsistency is human nature......
Don't really care who wins but you're pulling for the Warriors and calling LeBron princess James? Yep, you're certainly objective about the officiating. Golden State gets away with more fouling and moving screens and push offs than any other team in history. Curry led the league in steals but never fouled out before last night, and only had one game where he even got 5 fouls called. No ones that good a defender. James gets mauled all game long. I didn't even like him till I noticed all the irrational hate for him for no particular reason.I am not one who believes in conspiracy theories, but the NBA playoffs this season have me thinking otherwise. The officiating has been nothing short of pure crap. I am not fan of the Cavs or the Warriors and don't really care who wins, however the BS the Cavs/James got away with last night was comical. we're talking about a team that broke the 97 bulls regular season wins record. That's crazy.
dont say that man! They've got momentum and bron, bron wants that bad... They've also got some injures that could cost'em ..
i feel ya.. I think they'll win though.. Bron kinda plunked steph the other night, basically saying " I'm takin yo cookies "It has just become a routine lol, only Cleveland fans understand.
